  1. Ahhh sweet thats good to know they will fit, R34 5 bolt axles are damn hard to find. Yep the current diff is 3x2 bolt, its the normal open diff you get on R34 25GT. I bought an R34 R200 LSD which came with 5 bolt half shafts, so just need axles now.
  2. Hi, I boguht an R34 LSD for my R34 25GT auto, however it didnt come with the rest of the axles. Will R33 axles fit? Pic is of R33 axles
  3. oops missed out the step where you primer the wheels [Modified original post with these pics - PranK] From what I can remember you will need Face mask and goggles Cheap body filler aka bog 80/240/800 grit sand paper primer, make sure it's a heavy one designed to fill in gaps Dupli wheel paint - your choice of colour Dupli wheel paint - clear coat, this is optional Keep in mind I have little to no experience in sanding, using body filler, spray painting and still ended up with this finish, so I'd say anyone can do it.
  4. Whats stopping the R33 systems from bolting to the R34? Im keen to give it ago, maybe I could be a test cop
  5. Seen lots of bolt on 3"inch cat back exhaust for sale. Has any one tried or know if these will bolt up to the R34? Did a quick search but couldn't find an answer. Thanks
  6. Ok so I bought thes GTT wheels for $52, they were in very bad shape, deep curbing, stains that couldn't be washed off. I got thinking and decided they weren't worth paying someone to fix them up and decided ill do it my self, since this is DIY forum As you can see they were in very bad shape, all the rims had bad curbing. Step 1 Wash the hell out of the wheels Step 2 Buy supplies while the wheels dry Step 3 Start sanding, and sanding and sanding… Step 4 Once all the rims are sanded, fill in all the imperfections Step 5 Buy your choice of Dupli-Color wheel paint step 5 Once filler is dry there is more sanding to get a nice flat and clean finish Step 6 Clean the mags like hell to remove all the dust, then mask up and start spraying with primer Step 7 Enjoy the new refurbished wheels sitting in primer Step 8 Paint wheels and clear coat before after Wheels on the car
  7. Cheers for the info, so Im looking for R33/R34 auto LSD with abs sensor.
  8. Hi, I have an R34 25GT auto with abs, wanting to know what other nissan diff's are compatible. Would an R33 auto lsd abs diff fit? or am I stuck to looking for an R34 auto asb lsd? cheers for any info.
  9. Thanks Jason, you just saved me alot of money. Changed the heater core on my R34 25GT, all up it only cost me $200 - $50 for heater core and $150 for de-gas/re-gas and service the air con. I phoned Nissan and they wanted $500+ for a new heater core - crazy. Much cheaper buying 2nd hand lol Hope this heater core last I really dont want to have to do this again
  10. Im thinking of doing the RB25DE+T mod also. I have most of the turbo parts left over from my R33 GTS25t. Was thinking of bolting them on to my R34 25GT, I bought the car for $4800 so still ends up been a cheap turbo R34 if I do it. Can the factroy ECU and injectors on the R34 25GT handle 6psi? OR would they shit them selves if I chucked on the R33 turbo parts and just started driving it?
  11. lol, yeah shouldn't post after a few drinks Here is a pic of my new N/A skyline to make up for that
  12. My old R33, made 300hp at the wheels, was a fun car to drive to work evey day. Now have a R34 25GT, for my family car
  13. Thanks for your reply. I did a quick search but couldn't find what I was looking for. I think all R33's are the same apart from GTS4 and GT-R due to them been 4wheel drive. – hoping someone can confirm this for me?
  14. Hey can anyone tell me if 2door R33 GTS25t coilovers will fit most 4door R33's and non turbo R33's?
  15. Can you fit R33 GT-R injectors onto a R33 GTS25t if you have the GTR fuel rail?
  16. Pretty sure the stock manifold can support more power than the internals can handle. However if you have one of those Chinese intercooler setups then you will benefit from the reduced intercooler piping. If you don't have a front mount yet get greddy/trust one that plumbs straight up to you factory piping. [edit] ah just read it has to be taken off to be fix, K-LESS talk to http://www.boostedperformance.co.nz/, they use to do these installed for $700
  17. OK looks like Redline Lightweight Shockproof is the favourite, will give it ago.
  18. Is MT90 known to help warn synchro's? From what Ive read it seems MT90 is better for GTS25t boxes than lightweight shockproof.
  19. Hi, which redline oil is better for older transmissions, 'Redline Lightweight Shockproof' OR 'Redline MT-90' ? 1st to 2nd sometimes crunch's, guessing the synchro is worn. Car: R33 GTS25t Thanks
  20. No I haven't tried different set-ups. Here in NZ most track/drift Skylines are running wasted-spark, decided if there good enough to handle been thrashed on a race track then good enough for my road car. Ive been running with the setup for over a year and never had any problems. There a proven setup that works (like many other coil setups) and nice on the pocket $200NZ.
  21. damnit you guys have some nice engine bays! Mines nothing special, but makes a happy 230rwkws
  22. Did it start as soon as you installed the injectors? Could be injectors maybe???
  23. I'm running wasted spark and find my car runs better then it ever did on factory coils. Car never miss’s a beat and revs hard to redline. Also the coil unit runs cooler as its mounted away from the engine, I can hold my hand on the coil unit after a hard drive.
  24. Man how do you get the lights out? I tried pushing as hard as I could with wood on the threads, even bashing the wood with a hammer why'll on the threads, it just won't budge
