i spotted my own r33 on Surveillance footage as it smashed through a shop and did two ram robberies. car was stolen two days prior. cops chased, but it got away. i found it last saturday but it was written off.

the stock boost gauge is very poor and very far from accurate

my r33 gtst was stolen and written off last week . im now looking at buying r33 gtr and want to know if i should buy a stock v spec, or a slightly moded one. when modded what should i avoid ie:-what type of power can the stock fuel system happily support?? I have read the tutorial on buying a skyline, but i want to know more specificaly about what to look for in a r33 GTR. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. if it helps my budget is roughly around 27 to 36. Cheers Aaron

i just had installed my z32, 044,sard reg, and greddy ultimate ecu installed by crd. car made 220rkw at 13.5psi on stock turbo. my pfc had a fault in it so i had to use the greddy, but seemes to be doing the job very well. afr is right on 12 right through the run.

I was just wondering who i should get to install my z32, fuel pump, fuel reg, power fc, turbo and injectors and tune - Advan in silverwater or Croydon racing developments. Has anybody had good/bad work from either???

the boost will always change,considering the weather conditions.it doesnt matter what boost controller you have, the car will always be much more likely to hit a higher boost on a very cold day in comparison to a hot day were the boost will not be as likley to spike.

the apexi AVC-R is a great piece of kit, you would be hard pressed to get a better controller.

thry letting the car idle, unscrew the idle adjuster on the manifold,and spray alittle bit of carby cleaner in it.might help.

im running slightly higher boost,with an apexi avc-r. ive got exaust, pod,bov and boost.do you recommend regapping back??

the problem is so intermitent that it seems eletrical. the car will run fine, then every now and then it wont completly stall, yet drop its rpm too low, or loose all power breifly whilst driving.

I have two r33 gtr and 1 r34 gtr strut braces that i want to get rid off,they are in great condition.im selling them because ive already got one on my car and i cand fit any more on!! when my friend closed his workshop he had the lieing around and gave them to me.they are in sydney, but i can post them for an additional fee.they can be fitted to a gtst-ive got one on mine,they just need a spacer. The R33 braces- $150, R34-$170, these are very cheap for original GTR braces. pm interest.

i just changed the plugs a month ago to ngk bkr5eix-11 re-gaped to 0.8. I have changed the fuel filter about three months ago, and fuel hose. the bov is a GFB atmospheric vented valve, but ive got a HKS EIDS, to control the rich spike. ive noticed since i have changed the plugs it misses the slightest bit when idling.

i was sitting at the lights today when my car suddenly droped from idle-800rpm to a near stall only to correct itself instantly. i took off and drove about 100metres when it suddenly did the same thing,but this time whilst driving. since then it has done it several times. it doesnt sound like it is dropping a cylinder,and only looses power or nearly stalls for a second before returning to normal. the car is an r33 s1.5 det. any ideas??

is there an adaptor to be able to use a rb26dett apexi power fc in a rb25det? or does it have to be re-wired at the plug. has anybody done it or know if it possible??cheers Aaron

ive just rebuilt my r33 gtst box withe the internals of a grt 32.im waiting to pick it up,wasnt too exspensive ether.should be quite strong
