  1. around $50 (providing the wheel and boss kit)
  2. hey guys, i replaced mine at autosport (i think thats what it was called, in kirrawee). the one thats affiliated with just jap. the guy there took the wheel off, replaced with my after market one and re-wired the horn at a very good rate. the main issue with the one i had (series 1 with air bag) was that there are 2 little screws on the column itself (you have to pop the cap things off it before you can see the screws, use a little key or something). the screw was a weird star shape (apparently common for skylines) but mine was worse coz it had another little hole thing as well (very hard to describe). but all the guy at autosport did was get some tool he had and removed the wheel... etc etc. i dont think you can use any std type of screw driver. hope this helps, Nav
  3. also you will find that some 94 models will have the series 2 spoiler (more common on the 95) as opposed to the round one from the series 1. personally i think these look better than the series 1 spoilers. also, as perviously mentioned... yeah the type-m body kit that people try and sell to you saying its a special version and crap like that.. is crap... but that bodykit does make the car look nicer (another personal choice). my 2 c.
  4. i think that its up to a person to make theor own decision whether to take the wheel off or not. I made the decision to take it off because the orginal wheel that was on my car was in poor condition (looked like someone had an aftermarket wheel on it and before and then put it back on). I replaced it with an aftermarket one and am only about 55% happy, reasons being, ontop of purchase of wheel, you need a boss kit (about $100, and it goes up to $300ish if you get the one with the hicas unit). Also, since i got the non hicas one, not only does does the air bag light remain on (bloody annoying, especially at night) but the hicas light comes on at high speeds. I would suggest that unless you REALLY hate your wheel, keep it on.
  5. have you ever put it in your car? i'd be pretty interested in it, and the reason i ask is that some knobs that i've tried on my r33 sit pretty high and make the throw even longer.
  6. i had similar set on my 180. i took them off and am waiting till i get some time to put them on the 'line. you're meant to slice it off teh rear driving lights, but there's a resistor involved as well. any half decent auto electrician could do it. i should be doing mine in next few weeks, pm me if you would like instructions once i've done mine. 7. Hi Guys, my 'line came with 17' Volk racing wheels as attached. If anyone has the same or similar set, could you advise on how to take them off... I wanna put the stock ones back on for a while. Any help appreciated. Nav
  8. hey, i've got an old 95 model one... with the airbag still in tact. its in ok condition.
  9. hey guys, how do you turn hte fog lights on in an r33. is it linked to the driving lights or seperate? i dont seem to have a switch for mine. any help appreciated. Nav
  10. hey guys, does anyone know one in the west, like somewhere near blacktown or parramatta? cheers
  11. Hi Guys, I've just taken delivery of my r33. Am really impressed with it, good step up from my previous 180sx. One thing tho, seems like it had an aftermarket steering wheel on it before and someone replaced it with a std airbag one. My question to anyone that can answer it is, i'm gonna replace the wheel, how do i take it off. And take it off without the airbag discharging (if one exists in there). Any help would be appreciated.
