  1. Strich9ine, how did you disconnect the airbag light? my r33 has a sports steering wheel and the light stays on permanently (its VERY anoying at night). any alternatives?
  2. hey Merli, a lot of people have been looking for one of these lately.
  3. As B-Man suggested, Jeff (who did the SAU seat covers) came up with the following design http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/at...=&postid=482889 an idea would be a small skyline s on the front (top right) while the url (as in the pic) on the back. either way, i'm in for a t-shirt.
  4. yep, thats what i think. i dont know whether to let me g/f drive a manual (so she wont have the time to put on make up etc) or on the other hand she might think it a challenge and try it more. no win, i tell ya.
  5. shouldnt be too difficult to install. Prank wrote a 'how to guide' for an R33 GTTR under FAQ
  6. I'd have to agree with z on this one.. IMO this is fairly comon/normal
  7. yeah 200ish wouldnt be too bad... i'd say 250 max
  8. damn Ron, thats expensive. i would be interested in a group buy tho.
  9. I just had my car serviced at BD4s. I was quite impressed with the service (it was only a minor service). I took it to them once when i had a 180sx also and was pretty happy. If you do a searh in the NSW forums, I think it has been discussed there before
  10. can you put up pics when you get the dashmat on... i've always wondered about them but didnt get one for the 'line as i thought it would look g@y.
  11. yep, exactly CerealKiller said. when i get out of my car, i keep one hand on the quarter panel until both fee are on the ground. then no problems. i hated the damn shocks too. someone said something about earting the charge you generate or something while driving. someone else must know the technical explanation.
  12. I did the same colour and it turned out pretty good. if i was to do it again thought, i'd use gold. one of my mates did his 300zx in gold and it loos wild. my 2 c
  13. yep... worked out really good. you only need to use a little bit anyway. i re-do it once a month.
  14. hey man, the stuff you bought from just jap is a plastic cleaner. unless your headlights are really dirty, i would not recommend opening it up... too easy to f!@# up. If you headlights are misty (as mine were when i bought my r33) just open up the headlight from the back (big screw thingo) and drive around for a few hours (or let it stand in direct sunlight) and it will evaporate. I did that once and have not had any problems since. Nav ps: the plastic cleaner stuff worked like a dream.
  15. so what you are say (quite simply) is that all i have to do is put a bulb in there and it'll work?
  16. Hi guys, I have an r33 series 1 with teh m-spec front bar. I have no idea how the fog lights operate. I have tried every button, switch etc with no luck. Do I have to hook them up to the driving lights? Any help would be much appreciated. Nav
  17. Hey MFX_R33, the pic with the samples does not seem to come up for me. Can you email me samples of the different colours at [email protected] Cheers.
  18. there is a thread under NSW/Wasteland http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/sh...&threadid=16135 that someone has a logo they knocked up. I think that looks pretty good.
  19. MFX_R33, I'd definately be in for a pair at the forums price. if you could put up pics of each available colour, it would be great. Nav
  20. Yeah, series 2 wing will bolt straight on without any modification. $300 sounds like a lot I think for the install. Dont know how you'd do it (as i never have) but it shouldnt be too difficult. Someone should have a step by step guide, or you may be able to find one somewhere. Nav
  21. there are many threads about removing airbag wheels. try searching airbag under maintenance
  22. this bonnet and 'S' is from a series 2 skyline. what you are describing about the red 'S' sounds like a series 1 grill.
