  1. yeah..... i've got a bottle of that 3M glaze.... seems to work ok.... i've noticed a few guys at car shows using it too....
  2. and Paul, I'm pretty sure you can pick up Mothers at Marlows, same as Meguirs, it's just that their range is pretty limited.... Wonder if somewhere like the PPG distributor would have a decent range of car care products? Maybe one of Perths "premier" speed shops should start carrying it... :-) (BTW, Speedworks/WheelsWorld stock Swissol cleaning gear, which is apparently better than Meguirs/Mothers, but not cheap)
  3. Meguires on the outside.... go to www.mequires.com and hunt down their online car protection guide... it asks you a heap of questions about where you live, what your cars exposed to, and (essentially) how much you care about your car.... adn then puts together a program for you based on your answers.... (not all the products listed are easily available here unfortunately, but with a bit of hunting, you should be able to get them, or something very similar) On the inside, i don;t use much except for the armourall 'new car' cleaner.... similar to normal armour all, only with a lemon scent...

    turbo timer

Mk3 Supras lock both doors when you get to 20kmh.....
  5. someone could always chuck a java irc client up on here.... it's not as functional as mIRC or the other traditional clients, but it doesnt take up hard drive space, and it does work from peoples offices....
  6. will have to have another look, i coulda sworn they came with a decent front mount, un-obscured....
  7. ya... 240kw stock, apparently Ford managed to get 300kw+ by turning up the boost and re-tuning.... rather promising package....
  8. Speaking of which.. I need more Hawaiian shirts...
  9. Moroso calculators? go look in google, tehre are a few online ones... or, Grant could probly sort you out with the old school physical version....
  10. Adrian: to get Dazes job, you'd have to a) be faster than him and B) put in more unpaid workshop time than him.... thats a pretty big call...
  11. hmmm... i think i've missed something denver.... didnt you start all this backwards and forwards sledging with something in this post? all i'm seeing here is denver stating some issues, none of which relate to SST at all.... maybe steve is feeling a little insecure over his work on the car?
  12. night masters, no question..... it is a pity that the plex chose this night for the 4's 6's and rotes meeting.. but it's hardly the first time, they seem to think the Jap car crowd don;t care about mainstream racing... I seem to remember a fewyears ago they scheduled the event on the V8 Supercar weekend.... Or maybe the plex management just don't care about circuit racing...

    dyno day

Every second weekend is screwed for me anyway.... so I don't care if it's Saturday or sunday, it's still pot luck

    dyno day

just as long as them supra drivers are allowed in :-) it'll give me a reason to save up some cash too :-)
  15. hey sumo..... can you put an iso of the driftworks vcd on the afarcc webspace if i get you a copy of the (semi) final vcd?
  16. Adrian, I beleive you are thinking of JRT? They are located in Bentley and are currently looking after the APA dyno....
  17. I beleive Nik's flaring is too wide for sports sedans :-) But anyway... will be irrelevant when the new hubs arrive... Should be able to fit any race car in WA on there....
  18. hmmm..... i know the packs have issues with supras.... Ivan had to stay in my car while we put them on.... I thought it was ok with cars like Nik's R33 tho.... I'll check later.... Correction: The packs _just_ missed fitting Nik's car... but new extended hubs for this situation are on their way... (For those of you who don't know Niks car, most race cars don't have body kits this wide :-)
  19. Didnt Eddie put down 1376 at the nats?
  20. no worries..... i've since discovered that mine being a little older... the key is to actually remove the gauge from it's holder... and to notice the 3 tiny screws recessed into the back :-) one for warning level, one for zero'ing it, and i'm not sure what the other is for... perhaps top end adjustment....
  21. well... if it's got 4 studs, 5 studs or 6 studs, then it will be ok.... (on the dynapack) rear packs can handle about 800hp, and fronts about 600 from memory.... i saw one mob putting Sumo's [TECHONE] onto a dyno with the ATESSA fuse pulled, and only a chock under the front wheels to hold it back....
  22. I prefer the Dynapack setup APA uses... runs 4wd cars as well as 2wd... and has none of the traction issues roller dyno's do, because the dyno bolts straight to the hubs... much safer too... unlike some places that don't even bother to tie down cars... (i don't think the place i'm thinking of here has ever been mentioned on this forum, so we'll leave it that way :-)
  23. Ken, i'd end up doing CAMS events... but a) I've already got 2 cams affiliations already and B) I don't have a Skyline (even tho that would probably not be a problem)
