  2. chris i got the rb30 bolck and then a complete 25 that was blowwing a little black smoke before it was taken out that u can have for $1100 without the turbo
  3. hey everyone i need a turbo elbow to suit a r34 turbocharger, i believe that the r33 one should fit. not sure how much these go for but yea if u got one that u wanna sell let me know how much u want for it cheers Cameron

  5. Hi everyone i am looking for a r32 coupe rolling shell preferably with rego as i have a long term project. i am swapping everything from my track car into the other chassis but want to paint and everything from the ground up

  7. yea i have already cut and adapted my loom so i will try putting some tapped coils back in for the time being but i still want the spitfires in
  8. grab a whole series 2 loom or just the coil pack loom?
  9. thanks for your help so far. i kow it must be possible because on a series two rb25 to run a wasted spark setup u have to run a igitor pack and u have to be able to wire it up somehow.

  11. hi everyone i am having problems getting some spitfire coils to work in my r32 which has a series 1 rb25 in it. i believe that the spitfire coils that i were given were for a series two rb25. The plugs which go into my coils on my engine are brown but i have swapped them for the series 2 they grey plugs and have swapoped the wires around so that the positive negitive and ground are the right way around. i still have the ignitor on the coil pack cover and i have plugged it all up and i am getting no spark. have i done all this for nothing? please help Should this work? why or why not?   13. ok i am selling m car it was going to be a project and have never seen another before its a 5spd manual has a factory l20et thats pritty much all i know about it, the car was running until the rac battery man came around to connect the battery and when he changed it he didn't connect it the wrong way but one of the electrical connections sparked and came loose, i then was told to get the car checked out by an auto electrician and yea so its not running at the moment i am thinking of selling it for approx 1k do you think the price is about right? its in pretty average condition and due to unforseen circumstances i dont have the time or money to continue with this project
  14. hey guys just came across this thread i got a 1980 gt 2000, got a 5spd manual and its turbo dont really know too much about it does anyone else have any info on it all i know is its for a factory l20et or l20t but that is about all i know
  15. yea ecu could be chipped as the car was purchased like this. but to mine and matts knowledge it hasn't. the kick pannel has never been removed
  16. ok dude i have run my car on serveral dynos in perth and it only varies around 10 rwhp difference on the dyno's. my car pulled its expected power on the dyno so y do you say that it is dodgee when i ran 5 minutes before hand? as you can see non of the figures have been un realisticly adjusted at the bottom of the dyno. i can also tell you that his car is quicker than mine that is running an rb25... we will run it at the plex and i will place money that it will easly break the 100mph barrier and get mid 13's. i know this coz my car averages mid 13's and his car feels as quick as mine and has no troubles keeping up. look im not wanting to start a shit fight or anything and i understand that i dyno is a tunning tool.   18. ok matt is running an r34 steel wheel turbo and i was there it did pull that power and have been in the car and it feels as quick as mine, i have an r32 with an rb25 making 197 rwkw. i have no doubt that the dyno is reading correct It was also run at the pole position dyno day so i doubt they mucked the figure up when my car was run before matt and a soarer ran after matt and power figures for both my car and the soarer were around what they expected.
  19. My daily in a 97 MKII Chaser N/A 2jz, goes allright and in comfortable, dont like leaving it in midland tho, only here for a month then back to perth
  20. yea had a look at the oil and i am usinf 8100. but my oil pressure gauge is off the dial most the time, only at idle it drops to about 2. thinking my gauge is stuffed.
  21. mine has been doing it since i put the 25 in the r32. never had a problem with it for over 1 year now so not really to worried. been using motul oil since the engine conversion
  22. this happened to me aswell and i am using motul 4100 full synthetic
