  1. Hi y'all, I am seeking a two part (1 x paper, 1 x activated carbon) replacement filter for a Nissan MM-3 Puretron air purifier as fitted by Jap Nissan dealers. Bit of an oddball request, for an oddball 'thing' but these purifiers really work quite well - so I'd like to keep it going... Cheers.
  2. There's a guy selling a Mine's GTR ECU on e-bay (aust). two days ago the highest bid was $300. If it doesn't NEED to be factory ECU I'd be keeping an eye on this one !!
  3. Hi Y'all, Can anybody reccomend where I could get an intercooler & some other bits flow tested in Sydney, pref. Northshore ?? Cheers.
  4. Agreed. There's lotsa good electronics out there, but only a handful of primo speakers. If you value accurate sound reproduction above all else, check some Euro brands like Focal, DLS, Dynaudio. Boston Acoustics are good too. Believe me it's well worth spending dough on speakers.
  5. 0 = 0 PSI 1/4 = 3.36 PSI 1/2 = 6.72 PSI 3/4 = 9.1 PSI FULL = 13.4 PSI Hope this helps
  6. If you go direct to Hagemeyer (the Aust Agent for JVC) you can buy what they call "repacks". My bud has bought a few JVC decks and his current one is an mp3 deck. He paid about $200, in the box, unmarked with all docs & full factory warranty. Hagemeyer are in Alexandria (Sydney) I think.
  7. If you want the very best, NEO synthetic oil is the go. It's the only oil the public can buy which is derived from a fully synthetic diester. Their gear oil is specified by Hewland. Club racers & motorsport pro's use this stuff. Amsoil is also very good. It used to be derived from a full synthetic diester, but they changed the recipe. Then you've got your regular oil companies (Shell, Castrol, Mobil etc). Nissan specify 7.5w-50 or 40 (can't remember which) in the Jap owner manual. Don't use cheap sh1t oil...
  8. Also check out www.autospeed.com there are lots of free articles on turbos & turbocharging. Very good DIY projects too !
  9. Check the info on this site: http://www.powerlink.co.nz/~graeme/faq/index.html Somewhere on this site Graeme has a book "The Sky is The Limit" (downloadable PDF). This should keep you busy for a bit.
  10. Hi Y'all, Has anybody had any experience or knowledge of this product ? It's a piggyback ecu (like unichip) but is fully programmable & ships with windows software. looks like it could be a good thing - particularly with future mods in mind... here's a link http://www.takakaira.com/asp/table.asp?id=718&cat=2
  11. DJ_Lethal My R33 came fitted with a Kakimoto R 3" stainless system, which uses conventional (oval shaped) cans. The first thing that struck me when I test drove the car was how remarkably quiet it was - very stealthy in traffic, noone hears you coming but it flows very freely. My other car's exhaust has a nasty resonance at 2000-2150 RPM so I know where you're coming from.
  12. D'oh... Can't help you there bud, I'm in Syd !
  13. Whiteline have re-sellers everywhere. Call Bob or Jim and ask 'em ! Their kits are very good -perfectly tuned for Australian (ie bad) roads. I have dealt with Whiteline on many occasions, they are professional & courteous, and I'm not what you'd call the ideal customer !! a lot of R&D goes into their product. any reputable suspension shop can fit the parts you require. Buy with confidence.
  14. Could you give me a lift to Stockholm ??
  15. Mull, After seeing Getaway In Stockholm 1,2 & 3 I'd reckon there's a lot of Aussies who want to check the scene in Sweden !!
  16. Hi Y'all, I'm looking for a pair of front speakers fitted to R33 (& possibly other) skylines with the Kenwood Premium sound system option. Very easy to identify: They're a mental size (about 7" dia), the frame is the shape of a 4" & the mounting holes are the same as a 5" !!. Paper cone bonded to carbon fibre - real or faux I dunno. Willing to negotiate.... If you have the Kenwood-Nissan double din unit as well...VERY keen to negotiate !!
