Just posting a poll to see who would be interested in cruisin the Great Ocean Road again. the weather seems to be fine, so lets do it while the sun seems to be out. Maybe organises of the last cruise could organise again.

there is supposed to be a big MCCR cruise tommorow the 7 september its gonna have channel 9 filming for a tv show called the car show its on 4:30 on saturdays. i dont know where there meeting but geelong crew are meeting at corio road house at 9:30 i reckoned it would be great to get a good turn out of skylines especially like the GOR cruise!

well finally got my r33 gts t to the dyno not heavily modded just stage 2 FMIC, apexi safc, 2.5 inch from the cat back exahust and 12 pounds of boost i obtain a 190kw at the wheels. "HAPPY? i dont know!" the guy who was tuning said he has never seen such an ugly power curve! from 4800rpm the curve is perfect shooting straight up but before that, it looks like a stair way all lumpy and shit at 4200rpm to 4800rpm it actually flat lines making no power. WHY IS THIS!!! also how come on 7 psi at 4000rpm it makes roughly 138kw but at 12 psi at 4000rpm it makes roughly the same. a little help would be great.

hey cobo i to am from geelong it aint country. honestly an hour drive to melbourne isnt that far ive been on a few of the cruises and its worth it. your mate that wrote his car off wasnt a white r33 gtst was it?

well finally connected an apexi safc to my car and all seems great but not going to know untill it is tuned PROPERLY. just wondering who would be advised to take my car to, preferably with apexi experiance in melbourne would be great and open on a saturday. anybody???

well i own a R 33 GTS T and this afternoon as i was making my way home and i come across an R 33 GTR V-Spec, (well yes the car of my dreams!) so slowly i creep behind as we aproch the lights! the driver notices me and gives a little grin (mind you driver is roughly in his 40's) lights are green and he lets the clutch out leeding me to belive he is just another old fart driving a magnificent car at only a quarter of its potential, but then with a fuel dump bluring my vision for a split second he was gone! wow its on. releasing all possiable horses i grab the stick shift to second then third pulling beside him at the next red light! his wife also older giggling and smilling as i chuckle and listen to the sound of two magnificant cars stalling at about 2200rpm (well thats what i was at) lights are green and where off (RACING) so off the lights wheel spinning (as all GTS T's do) i find my self only half a GTR behind as i click second feeling the rear trying to pass me still as i try to retain traction slip to third out to about 6600rpm and were both off the gas pop to fith and puring down the road like a quire on a perfect note. but only finishing half a car behind??? THIS HAS ME PUZZLED! i understand his only got .1 of a litre more but one extra turbo and probbably 15,000 dollars more for roughly .500 of a second quicker. i dont no, it was roughly 200 meters was he just playing or was it seriously close maybe another 200 meters and would i have prefered to be walking??? this has NOT changed my mind of course i still want one but maybe not for the power anymore! any thoughts would be great!!!

please help!!! i own a 95 gts-t skyline and can not run boost higher than 9psi! been dynoed twice and air/fuel curve just goes bad and starts running lots of oil. ECU must be saving engine! will a APEXI S-AFC fix this problem??? i have disconected waste gate boosted out to 15 psi but engine starts surging at about 3500rpm. so its not the wast gate opening up!

please help. i know near nothing about this so i need lots of help. first can i plug an apexi SAFC straight on to my standard ECU? where can i get one and what sort of money should i be paying? i aim for 190rwkw with 13psi. im running supra front mount cooler HKS air intake 3inch from the catback zaust and a turbo smart dual boost controler. i am by pasing stock boost solernoid and running a constant 7 psi and 9 psi when i flick the switch. Problem i have is standard ECU wont let me boost over 9psi anymore and ecu just floods the engine wit oil leaving it coffing and spluttering (had it on a dyno and seen the feel mixes!) need help!

hey guys just looking around for piggyback ECU's and have come across this (programable unichip) if any one uses one or can tell me what there like (home brand version of Apexi SAFC) how hard they are to install? just any info and help would be great thanx.

yeah move to the western suburbs??? i used to live in northen suburbs bundoora to be exact! lets see insurance ohh lots??? chance of car being BORROWED or just broken in too VERY VERY high! AND the VL's youd think they where as common as vx ss's and there are shit loads of them getting around! i admit melbourne atmosphere is the greatest (not many blonde surfie chicks but there is enough talent to go around) i admit i have a soft spot for VL turbos but mainly cause if you look at them those 3litre engines are just skyline motors anyway. i love my skyline and would never by a VL over it!
