Seb 1.4s quicker than Ham in FP1. I hope this isn't going to be the cakewalk it's looking like...
edit- FP2 just finished and Vettel 0.7s clear of Webber. ominous
the old aero packages generated too much downforce, and the FIA periodically has to fiddle with the allowable wing dimensions to keep cornering speeds reasonable
*waits for some retard to say driver and spectator deaths are a perfectly acceptable trade off for 'spectacle'*
dafuq? when did this happen?
I admire his driving skillz, but that admiration doesn't extend beyond that
I'll get ready for work an hour earlier. If Vettel has driven away from everyone by 7am, I'll be out the door at the usual time
well he's only 10pt ahead of Nando, so he could still lose it even just by not getting enough points from the last two race finishes
say Alonso wins both the final races, and Vettel comes second in both, he'd lose the title by 4 points
they could afford to change the gearset in Seb's car after quali seeing as he was to start from the pit lane anywho. usually, he would have been stuck with the shorter 'clear air' 7th gear required for a smokin' quali lap.
I find the whole 'no setup changes' in parc fermé thing a bit churlish at this level of motorsport.
