only my miss fortune thou hay pls send turbo back as i atleast get what i payed for and Consumer Affairs need me to get another report i dont care if they do nothing aslong as they are aware of this matter !

as fot the other turbo failing this was 3 years ago on another car fitted by sum1 else so yeh my car must be fair healthy to rev to 9500 every day on 17psi constantly and has done 60,000klms with me driving it this way yes woh he bearing looks like its had lak of oil---how about the bearing was faulty crapped itself and had lak of oil due to it all going out my exhaust no that couldnt be the reason and $ is not the point all thou it was not $500 well if he is such a champ lets see if he refunds the postage as he says and yes i would like my turbo back and my useless oil line as it will be going to bill from ats ! seems its ok to bag a person on here but not a sponsor hay freedom of speech

well thanks for deleting my other post the explanation given for the dead turbo from ( forum sponsor ) was insufficient oil supply ( yeh right ) lines were ok he says as he made me send them but he blaming my engine which is the tightest rb20 anyone has every seen and has oil changes every 5,000klms and also uses slick 50 always an excuse on their behalf,, asif the bearing didnt faill then there was lak of oil cos it was in my exhaust so no warranty wat a suprise after paying for the turbo waiting 8 weeks saying it was direct bolt on then the day i receive it a write an email sayin the wastegate did not seal was atleast 1-2mm gap from housing, his explanation oh after 2 or 3 power runs it will seal up yeh rite ! and that day then telling me my oil lines need modyfing wtf everything was done correct everything, so lets blame the engine to void warranty, even thou the engine has never had 1 part fail ever and was running great until the turbo change.. what a sponsor hay

yeh from what i have learnt in recent days yes bb have restrictors in lines and journal bearing ( plain ) need big oil flow will keep updated, hopefully faulty part

i never said the turbo was a bb unit i know its journal Aaron from slide the day i got turbo delivered sent a link explaining oil lines needed modding, in link it says to redrill banjo fittings to 6 mm and banjo oring (end off line to 55 mm ) this was all done as specs showed, even thou i got told originally it was strate bolt on just removed turbo, all lines seem sweet no blocks and the return line was not kinked alot of oil in rear housing i cant see how it would of been a lack of oil,looks like too much lol, about 30mm of play in compressor and it has lost some edges, does not look good i still think it was a faulty bearing/seal i mean it happens to car engines and many other things cheers for all ideas soutions people turbo will be sent back to aaron at slide first thing in morning so fingers crossed it will be fixed

soory its was a mtq turbo and it wasnt this engine was 2 years ago a t28 for my 180 and a garage fitted i have fitted many turbos before many i know engines very well,mechanic without certificate used to work at ultratune cheers slide ( aaron ) wasnt saying it was your fault just asking if it could of been a dodgy seal.bearing i dnt know the workings of inside of a turbo and as for the $20 fitting im not a cheap skate the letter you sent said to drill them out so i did otherwise i would of bought them i know it was not an installation problem as i have had the turbo of many times on this car and me an a qualified mechanic at his workshop fitted this 1 cheers

wasnt bagging him was justing asking what you guys thught and if anyone had similiar problems yes its blue/white smoke oil ! lots of it,still feels like its pulling but has harsh npoise coming from the turbo i forgot about indycar hence the no reply, hopefully will get sorted out got a turbo from gcg or whomever they are and they just voided buy saying i overboosted it how do you prove otherwise, so was also worried about the warranty factor cheers

Hay guys.. After waiting around 7-8 weeks after i payed my turbo from Sliding Performance arrived. So that day installed it modded the lines (redrill bigger to 6mm as says) everthing else bolt on style, primed the turbo done everything properly (have done many many times) drove car for few klms before full throttling it only on 6psi, all was good 100klms later turned boost to 12 psi was pulling like a jet and sounding like 1 real nice, half hour after this started blowing smoke at idle ? then as you take of was clearing out ! 5 minutes after this it was just belowing,within the next 5 minutes looked like surrounding areas were on fire and there was literally sludge of oil out exhaust,had to put 3 litres of oil in to as light came on DOES anyone think this could be faulty seal/bearing from factory ? Anyone else had bad experiences with this guy ? i contacted them strate away got car taken home on car trailer ! WHAT EVERYONE THINK ???????????

well my car has been fine super fine lent it to my gf for 2 weeks then i go for a boost and yay u know it the missfire issue on 7psi u can hold full throttle all the way may just cough once as soon as boost raised pop bang fart but if hold partial throttle it will rev all the way threw .... i changed plugs even thou others were new regapped to 8mm cleaned the coil packs properly and tapped them up aswell cleaned all connectors new vaccum lines every were cleaned air flow meter all intercooler clamps are tight WHAT THE HELL is wrong with it ????? pls tell me its not the damn coils ! and if it is has anyone done the cheaper option with a waste spark setup from a ford with leads and is it any good any advise greatly appreciated

2 rb's with the same mods are often far apart no 2 engines are the same !

split dumps around 100-150 i changes to tuned manifold on hi flow turbo ( lost down low but gained tons up top ) and the sound is awesome

^^^^ as says i have 4 matching tyres like 2 weeks old still have lil poky rubber bits,,wrong profile for me all 4 are the same Firenzas or sumfin. pics if realy realy need but seriously like new after $300 for all 4 hola
