it was this year :shake: it was a trans-american race, cannonball style. started in New York and finished in Hef's Playboy Mansion in LA. the R33 GTR was brought from the UK to race. not really that special when you consider the SL55s, RUF Porsches and Ferrari F50s that also took part, amongst the plethora of other exotics... there is a DVD of the event released by Teckademics in the US. i am able to get my hands on these for around $40-50 (should be less than that if anyone is interested), and the DVD is first class. here is the trailer for Gumball 3000 if anyone is interested: link PS: there is also footage from DTMPower Australia's big cruise to the central coast (100+ cars) in which there are grudgematchs, you will see one SAU member's R33 against a GSR in the trailer.
