would be more cost effective to replace it with a secondhand unit you should be able to pick one up fairly cheap being non turbo maybe even go the non turbo RB25DE option just a thought you should consider as secondhand non turbo engine generally are not worn out or very rare to find worn out

it is not advisable to jack on the chassis rail unless you are using a hoist as just jacking one chassis rail at a time puts to much pressure on a single point as it can colapse or bend the chassis section up :eek:

mrk25t just check all your pipes to and from the I/C if it is the problem it may pay to invest in some decent clamps

G-Tech is what we use here fairly accurate and easy to use plug and play design just needs a cig lighter socket no wiring

i wouldnt mind having a look at the seat belt brakets to see if they streched as during compliance we take out the higrade steel brackets and replace them with crap yes crap mild steel brackets im actually glad to see they held but i myself would feel better if the rules changed next year to leave the standard belts in place. other compliancers know what im talking about here.

base timming on my car was 25 deg but during tuning we all thought i was way to much timming for it to handle but the more timming you put in the harder it went so i could also guess there was some error in it somehow joel is that a R33 turbo your running and can you post your dyno sheet so i can compare

we ended up with about 34degres up top i think but you need to have a big cooler

joel yes we tuned it yesterday on the dyno 4th gear run 1 bar ran premium unleaded only
