Was talking to someone the other day and was asked if I drive the car "hard" since I have quite a bit of power now... you know, dragging people on the street etc. I said No and he was quite shocked; I went on to explain that I build my car as a hobby and cherish it too much to thrash the hell out of it or similar. I even went as far to saying that to enjoy the car, you don't need to be doing stuff like that? Am I just stupid, or are there others that think this way... I mean, spending all this time and money on the car only to drag it up and down the street against a poobox, why? What you guys think?

Hello Some of you may have seen my driveway problems thread... can't get my ride home without the use of wooden ramps at the moment. Problem is that the ramps have now almost deteriorated so I need replacements - heavy duty style. I'm thinking of getting some steel gratings or metal sheets to bolt straight into the concrete (still allowing for drainage). I'm after a total size of 700mm x 1500mm (or else get two pieces at 700 x 750. If anyone has connections to get this cheap or even some off cuts from construction, please let me know!

TommyK; my engine bay clean up consists of a paintbrush, a hard bristle tooth brush, some wax/polish + a cloth.... What I want to know is whether degreaser will be a good thing to use (especially to get oil stains off the engine)?

I'm sure you could package it together say both items $150 - I'd definitely be interested! But just to confirm that I am IN for this eyelid purchase!
