I am also going to say that tiptronic auto is not that bad for an R34, having one myself I have not been disappointed yet. Sure the arguement lies that manuals get more power, control and 'fun' but I think the tiptronic is not very far off. The shifting arguement is void with tiptronics as they can do pretty much the same thing - except launches. I guess an extra bonus to tiptronic is that they can downshift a hell of a lot faster than manuals. As zymotic said, it's bliss knowing that you can choose between lazy mode and semi lazy mode! Comes in handy when the girlfriend is there

Just one thing to add to that post: EXCLUSIVITY How many R34s do you see on the road compared to the s15... even though it may be 2 years older, the R34 next to a s15 will sure as hell have no problems drawing more attention. Main reason, one is an import - the other is a locally sold vehicle. However, if attention is not your thing then yeah s15 is the way to go - cheaper too!

Personal preferences as always... as most members would say on this forum, if you whinge about the small dollars - don't buy a Skyline
