  1. I'm in Sydney and I've jumped onto the F-CON boat (F-CON V Pro); never looking back... I've had numerous cars roll through with quite a few different systems and when you factor in cost of unit, cost of tuning, and time taken to install then it's all pretty much on par with each other. Even though the F-CON does not come with a base map (V PRO, IS and S have base maps I believe) the setup configuration is a 15minute process by entering the car's details into the PowerWriter software. When comparing the HKS units to those like the PFC; you're in too completely different worlds... there are probably 100 different things on the F-CON that the PFC doesn't have or won't have. Also; might I add that the F-CON units are upgradeable in the sense new features can be loaded on - my last tune had a whole bunch of compensation components loaded in as an upgrade; not many ECUs allow for this. At the end of the day; there is a reason why they call it the "Motec of Japan"
  2. Hi all, Trying to piece a RB26 back together for a customer and require all the bits n pieces around the intake side of the RB26DETT... Tell me what you got; cash ready to be sent. Thanks S

  6. Hey mate; Have the turbo heat shielding - both the turbo shield and the dump pipe shield. Where abouts are ya (for postage) I'll take $50 for both. Stan

Same deal as above; but just to re-cap: $125.00 per set; delivered. By "set" - 1 x crank collar; 2 x oil restrictors (any combination) Oil Restrictor Sizes: 1mm, 1.2mm and 1.5mm Let's get the ball rolling again 1. NickR33 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. 9. 10.
  9. Hey Adrian; The grub screw should be in the packet; I personally checked all of them before sending out it's a tiny little black thing - perhaps check that it didn't fall out into the tough bag? Also; there's no hole in the collar because the grub screw is really an "optional" item that not all places choose to use. As such; no pre-machined hole is drilled for it. This is what I've been told by Matt any ways... Thanks S
  10. BUMP! Also now have R33GTR FMIC up for sale - good condition; looking for $500.00 o.n.o.
  11. Just received a call from DHL; the collars have been sitting in a holding facility for the last week! Apparently (truth level of this unknown) the address was listed as 39 and not 59!!! How bloody nice of them to call me after a week~ Anyways, just letting you all know that they will arrive tomorrow and I will be shipping them out to you on Friday Happy Times!
  12. 100kgs is not a big ask IMO - spare tyre; jack; boot trims & lining; rear seats; passenger seats; HICAS; speakers; seat belts; centre console; carpet; mats; interior plastic trim; etc etc... You'll end up having one hell of a track-spec R34; but why? Is 100kg really going to make that much of a difference on the street? Is the difference going to make up for the discomfort you will experience (sound, rattles, vibrations, smells)? Personally I would do what DECIM8 said; put the time and effort under the hood and it will make up for it easily.
  13. No pics as yet... will get some at work tomorrow if you want them (just the standard gauges on a GTT) Adaption is "possible" I guess; you'd have to mould your dash to fit and then perform freaky wiring
  14. Darrin; the R34 bottle is in the same location as the Stagea I did think about retro-fitting another motor onto the aftermarket bottle but found it unecessary. I don't have a rear wiper (removed) so figured it'd be pointless anyway
  15. Darrin; good to see the Stag moving along now in mod-country Go to your local Super-Cheap and pick up a universal washer bottle kit... a little bit of DIYing and you have yourself a new washer bottle setup. This is a mandatory modification on the R34s due to the size of the stock item (we haven't come across any that haven't had it done) The "aftermarket" one I got is about 1.5L and sits snugly next to a full size battery (not the pissy little ones) so that should give you an idea Thanks S
  16. Why would you bother with things like SAFCs when they are going to become useless as the modifcations go on... I personally would never advise anyone to go for a SAFC if they have "future" plans. In order of upgrade: Stage 1 Complete Exhaust (Split Dump, High Flow Cat) Front Mount Intercooler Bigger Fuel Pump FPR Stage 2 Bigger Turbo Bigger Injectors Camshafts Full aftermarket ECU Stage 3 R34GTR Brembo Brake Upgrade Suspension Components
  17. What's the cost of one of thse gaskets?
  18. BD4s is the only official HKS Power Writer on the East Coast of Australia; XSpeed is the official HKS Power Writer on the West Coast. Anyone else claiming to be able to tune these units is most likely 1) borrowing the tuner / software from the two mentioned places or 2) using illegitimate hardware / software. To actually become a tuner for HKS is a very involved process; it's one of the many reasons why the whole HKS Pro line of products is hardly mentioned anywhere. On that note; if anyone has an ENGLISH copy of the manual for the V Pro; PM me
  19. It's in this month's Hot4s... we did it for the editor Look for the mag with the Mirage on the front I think
