  1. Has anyone fitted one of these (or similar) to the R34GTT and removed the entire HICAS unit? What lights come up and what is affected? Remedies / Fixes?
  2. I've got the TEIN Type Flex in mine along with a few other bits of suspension goodness... makes the car solid like a rock (feel every ripple on the road) but that's the way I like it. Handles like it's on rails as well. The only downside is that your passengers will soon get rather annoyed with the ride quality as they cannot possible pre-empt each time the car "bumps"
  3. You are forgetting that it's not just about outright power... it's about many other things. The R34GTT has vast developments in the engine (hence being badged the NEO), the turbine system (bigger than R33), the suspension, the brakes etc etc. Even the HICAS system in the R34GTT is vastly different to that on the R33GTST. I think if you compare the facts; the power difference is noticeable but more so the torque. The NEO's VVT system is much more developed than that on the R33GTST I'm afraid.
  4. PS: Nik you will probably get yours faster than someone in WA anyhow, even if you're in the second batch
  5. Have to work that one out; but just taking a quick glance at my bank statement from January, most payments were made through this month. 4 sills is just under half of the GB so yeah; if you ain't in the first batch you're in the second. I think this is only fair...
  6. 4 sets to be sent over tomorrow; will be here by the end of the week I'm told. More will be sent over on the weekend...
  7. Just Jap kit - $345.00 problem solved...
  8. Thanks Jon; that's a start
  9. Hi all, I'm looking for a SQL developer who will be able to take an existing SQL database, study it, and then modify it to suit our clients' needs... All work can be done on-site if necessary with unlimited access to our facilities / resources. This is on offer to individuals and/or businesses so all you IT people out there please read! If you think you or your business will be able to help out; please call 02 8114 9700 and ask to speak with Stan. Thanks S
  10. OK; here's the latest update... CNY is over and the gears are cranking again at the overseas supplier! (finally) I've been promised that 5-7 sets will be ready by Friday this week which will be immediately dispatched to Australia (arriving early next week) Once here; the sills will be sent out in order of payment. The other sets will arrive shortly after to Australia and then onto you. Please don't worry too much; I now have 3 different people continually cracking the whip on this. Thanks for your understanding guys! Stan
  11. My thoughts are with you Mikey... hope you get better real soon; from personal experience you'll find it pretty hard to be as "carefree" as before - you'll always think that someone is out to get you / your car. What both Duncan and Pete have said is true... if they want your car and will obviously stop at no lengths to get it, then GIVE IT to them. I don't know about you lot but I value my life more than I value my car. Suggestions of keeping weapons etc on you is stupid... it promotes violence and will probably get you in trouble even if it was "self defence". Correct me if I'm wrong but if you had the weapon in your car expecting trouble, it's not really self defence is it, especially if you club the guy to near death proportions.
  12. Thanks Jason; you're around where I live anyway (now Mosman ) so I'm sure we'll bump into each other one of these days!
  13. I can confirm that these will fit the 2 door version with a STANDARD bodykit fine...
  14. Glad to see you boys liked them If anyone else wants some; I've got a lot leftover
  15. If I can rack up the cash to fill the bird up then yes I'll be in...
  16. Got to protect those wipers somehow... from rocks, dust, bullets n stuff :vomit:
  17. Why are we slagging this guy for his misfortunes? Surely he must've tried all avenues if he's here asking for help/advice... I personally can't help you; but I'm sure if you do a search of his topics/other sales you might get some information through there.
  18. Good to see those parkers I sent you went on alright Sam... TIP: Use some long nose pliers (preferably some with an angled tip) this will give you much better grasp of the clip over your big fat fingers (like most of us have). I have hands that are quite small and it's still a struggle.
  19. Morning guys, Actually a little embarassed to write this but the only official news that I am getting is WIP "work in progress"... the fact that they now have a 10 day public holiday does not help either. I have been promised that they will re-commence work on Wednesday next week. I will be making a rather large threat to this supplier next week; hopefully this will get those items done and sent here. Believe me when I say that my mate and I are very upset at this. Stan
  20. Personally I can't say I've been beaten by any Honda on the road before... I'm pretty sure there is one particular group on OzHonda that remembers the night
  21. I would hope so if you bought a R34
  22. LOL 1400kgs of non-turbo auto powa!
  23. In saying that though; I believe in the phrase "you get what you pay for"... don't see any of the Motec boys n girls complaining about the extreme prices
