  1. For sure John, wishing you heaps of fun on your test day, I'm sure you are gonna be extremely happy with your new engine response from the 6466, its on another level. Most likely see you on the Thursday test day prior to wtac at smp.
  2. So first test session at phillip island didn't happen and lucky for 2 reason. At 8.30 last night just prior to loading car on the trailer the boys noticed an abnormality with the engine so played it safe, engine out this morning and all is well, few days set back. And reason 2 is we heard it was a wash out at phillip island.
  3. Thanks dahn, all good with suspension buddy. I also have a brand new set of ikeya sitting in its box we have never needed to use as yet. But appreciate the thought. Speak to freddy... We have a transporter that can fit 2 more cars in, if your interested fill me in.
  4. Unbelievable.... Car was tuned by dean, and phil armour who flew down for the day. Massive thanks phil. This engine is a monster. Posting a crappy phone quality of it on the dyno, unfortunately I can't post any graphs or mention power in respect to the team as time attack is just around the corner. But what I will say is this new engine doesn't even compare to the old engine, like night and day.
  5. Dahn and John, looking forward to seeing both cars out and about, great progress guys.
  6. So dyno tune and alignment set up tomorrow, can't wait to see what this set up will do. Pumped.
  7. Exhaust finished up through the new skirts. More to do to the skirt around the exhaust after phillip island.
  8. Massive days in lead up to phillip island. Car was started Sunday early morning for the first time, and I got to hear it today.....it sounds tuff and lumpy on idle, awesome, completely differently to the old car set up. Everyone was working on it today, dash attached, body loom was and still is being made and will be finished tonight. Body loom weighed 2-3kg which was a guess by hand.
  9. Massive thanks to phil armour for the dash, absolute legend.
  10. I leave all the suspension stuff to dean as it goes over my head. But I did ask him bout what you guys advised and he said it has been checked and all is good. In regards to camber etc I don't know how its set up as I trust what is done by the guys, but if more was required I'm sure without doubt they will advise we need it. Cheers guys,
  11. Cheers, All sponsor decals will go on shortly too. Can't wait to hear this thing.
  12. Big thanks to kinzy paint and panels for the skirts
  13. Ride height front is 65mm, side skirts will be a touch lower when I add some skirting to also bring it down to 65mm. Looks sik. Exhaust needs lengthening to fit flush with the side skirts too.
  14. Hanging to drive it, but its first outing next week ill be flying interstate for a few days so dean and Brett will have to text me the results.
  15. Intercooler plumbing finished up today, thanks to lw kustoms tig welding all the pipes and clamps to hold in the boost.
  16. I hear good things about the 6466, great choice
  17. We have 3 sets of end plates ranging from small to large, fitted up the large ones today and will test to see if there's any noticeable difference in regards to downforce. Also a great place to put sponsor logos which should happen this week.
  18. Worked most of the day with paul to strip some more weight out of it. Cut out the solid metal on the end of the rear subframe, 0.5kg per side, cut off the tow hooks and fitted a light tow strap, 0.5kg combined, rear abs sensors out 0.5kg, and other little bits here and there. Almost 4.5kg in total.
  19. Exhausted fitted up. Intercooler piping will be finished tomorrow and the wiring loom should arrive. Wire up and tune is only left to do before the 11th.
