  1. Guys, Thinking of selling my heavily modded SI R33 Skyline GTS-T 2 dr. Can people who have sold or tried to sell their modded R33s discuss how they went? Did it take too long to sell, did you have to sacrifice price below what you thought you'd honestly get, etc etc. I have most stock parts and I am therefore thinking either of two options: 1. Pay speed shop to take it back to near stock (I have no time) and trade in on new car. Then sell all of my good bits. 2. Sell car as is (i.e. modded) and sell all the stock bits. Buy new car seperately. Thanks in advance for advice. Cheers, Lachlan.
  2. I'm not serious re the Skyline Restuarant, just thought this was the perfect thread to highlight the fact that Adelaide actually has a Skyline Restuarant....
  3. Check it out!! http://www.rydges.com/weddingsandevents/We...mp;ref=weddings
  4. We should go to the Skyline restaurant at the Southpark motor inn on Sth-Wst Terrace corner.....what a combo!!
  5. Yeah, nice silver Turbo Ceyanne (sp?) as well. Tend not to get too many Commodore yobs at events like that. That Freightliner Supertruck sounded crazy, like it was just about to grenade itself!
  6. Too quick! Did you have that burgandy R33 with the blue battery sticker. I was there, black R33 GTS-T. I love Supertrucks, massive boost, massive engines....who wouldn't??
  7. Not bad, but saw more impressive display today at Mallala by some Supertrucks doing a demo at CAMS Nationals. 1300HP and MASSIVE torque from 14L turbocharged (45-85psi!!!) beasts will do that. Supertruck champs on 22nd-23rd July ata Mallala.
  8. So that's 2mm TOTAL toe in on the rear or 2mm each for a total of 4mm?
  9. It's now Friday, how are they trackin?
  10. Worth every penny. Would have to pay $1-2M to get same performance from some euro supercar.
  11. Three R33s in my street now. Mine (Black GTS-T), a GTR (Black with 19" chromies) and Silver GTS-T auto sedan (femaile P plate driver).
  12. Pretty fancy boonga there, is it a turbo? What the typical price range for that year?
  13. Hello! Have any of you guys bought an aftermarket intake plenum from Driftbitz (based at Rolin Import I think, Burleigh Heads)? If so, has anyone achieved high 200s/low 300s rwkW or more without issues?? They sell them pretty cheap, but cheap is not always best as I know too well myself. Cheers, Lachlan.
  14. Could someone confirm the effects of rear toe either, toe in, 0 or toe out, especially for R33 Skyline GTS-Ts. Pretty sure I understand front toe effects but still not 100% sure what happens with the rear. Is it simply the reverse of the front, ie. front toe in induces understeer due to less overall grip, so rear toe in induces oversteer becuase of the same reasons? SK has recommended 2mm toe in for the rear end of my car (as part of other recommendations) to help dial out rear oversteer which I'm still trying to get my head around. Cheers!
  15. R33 bushes far off? I have my car booked in for fitment on the 22nd of April. Should be OK?
  16. Kenwood or Kenworth??... http://catalogmusic.com/products/genre-Truckin'.html
  17. Thanks all and SK. Can I have clarification on what some terms mean? - Roll Centre - Roll Couple - Bump Steer (sounds obvious but I want to be sure) Thanks again.
  18. OK, I'm convinced, what next? Will be at Adel 500 for the next 4 days so maybe Monday I'll organise payment.
  19. So I don't have to get the pinapples if I don't want to. If I simply want to make sure the subframe remains rigid under load then that's all I need? So have you guys bought seperate pinapples to adjust traction then?
  20. OK so let's review current setup after I had a proper look: Front end: - Camber -1°45' - Castor +7°40' - Total Toe +0°8' - ride height = 337mm Rear end: - Camber -0°42' - Total Toe +0°6' - ride height = 325mm
  21. So what are the benefits over the Whiteline versions? I think they are available via SAU for $114.
  22. Yeah, forgot to respond to that. Have measured heights before but can't remember, will do when I get home. The rear end does sit lower than the front for sure, so it's nose up.
