just make sure the sides of the cap are machined to accept the thrust bearing.

Get a mechanic to put a master guage on it or put a mechanical guage on it yourself. if pressures are good look at the electrics. Should not see less than 20psi at idle at operating temp and should climb when the rpm increases. will peak at around 65psi. these pressures might vary slightly depending on what grade oil you are running.

Is the inlet cam RB25 or RB20 as want to fit a gear properly, what springs do you run with those cams?

If you are miss matching main caps you will need to get the block line bored and then have bearings to suit.

Pull them back out and let them soak in tub of light engine oil overnight. might take half an hour to bleed up at 1500 rpm after instalation. i get this all the time when doing engines. dont stress to much.

have seen a similar turbo low mounted, it was off the new falcon, featured ar.7 compressor cover and ar.82 rear internally gated. extensive modification of the engine mount necessary. plus custom plumbing in speedflow for oil & water feeds and custom dump pipe, intake pipe & intercooler pipe. looks fully standard though, cant pick it other than the large intake pipe.

You cansave yourself alot of money here. Buy a boost controller which also acts as a guage, e.g Eboost 1. dont need an aftermarket BOV. Dont have to do any internal engine work for mid to high 200kw, can run anywhere from mid 12s to mid 11s on standard internals and quicker on the bottle. 250 kw at the tyres with drag radials could see you a mid to low 12 sec pass if you can drive, and cost you alot less as has been previously posted, otherwise you will be looking at the 14k mark and that does not include internals.

Bush bearing highflow will cost you $1350. Have fitted many with good results. BB highflow from GCG will cost you around $1800. Never used one as the bush bearing units work well, but sure it is a good unit. Lots of trick turbo combinations can be purchased for $2000, but not always necessary.
