    whats the 910 for? are you using it for a lift pump? you will need at least two if you are using it for a main pump. will you make anzac day or is it too soon?

    yeh OK, i think BenM has one, ill see if he will lend it to me for a session.

    just remember that an engine kill/isolater switch is required, not just a normal battery isolater switch. Means it must switch through engine ignition so that when it is switched off the engine dies unlike with a battery isolater switch.

    thats a high speed lean out. its not a bad one as you can still recognise that its a spark plug lol, but enough to melt the side of a piston which i dare say you have done. you dont have any fuel surge issues when cornering with that car? otherwise id say it was just a little lean in the tune,

    hey guys, long time since any updates. Running the car on Anzac day to finish tune on the track to tidy up some light throttle issues. Also trying some new wheel alignment specs. Hope to see some of you there.

    im not sure to be honest, but your more than welcome too. I dont really do anything to it besides put fuel in it....its quite a boring car to pit for. Im going to wheel align it and give it a service this weekend. I think it will only be tyre pressures and fuel on the day, unless i have some missfortune and we have to emergency cable tie panels back on lol. 9am driver brief......means i can leave at 6.30. gold.

    it will depend on if there is any cylinder damage, but id pull the lot, give it a light hone and then re-ring all 6. most probably will be replacing #1 piston. replace big end bearings while at it. thats cheap but good option.

    anyone one thinking of making a weekend of this, or is everyone just heading down on sunday morning? i was thinking of heading down saturday and taking the girls to the Zoo, staying overnight somewhere and then heading to track. What time are we expected at the track? Otherwise i guess i would be leaving the gong at 5.30 sunday morning. Takes about a hour and a half correct?

    really poor alignment solved most of the issues. going to tweak it again next weekend.

    whats doing there brus, are you married yet ? once the formalities are over you should be back on the track. let me know if you need me to build that engine, ill do it on the side at work..........cheeeeep. but good lol.

    FUNNY THAT, My missus was asking what the go is there also. probably so he can concentrate on racing......we saw what a hot missus did to homos season last year.

    yeh that was her, wanted to have a look around EC and it seemed like a good oportunity. beautiful track btw. cant wait to have a crack around there. in saying that i cant wait for wakie, probably only see the top of 4th down the straight but thats ok. EC was so fast. was already in 5th by the start of the grandstand.

    hey guys, great topic. Any cahance of listing the tyres in some sort of performance category or compound list and with the average prices. i havent had a new set of tyres on my car yet, still using the secont hand RE55s off the v8 utes. I want to no im spending the right money when the time comes, and you guys seem to have the majority covered. I dont think i can run the bridgestones again at $440 a corner.

    cheers guys. lll let him know. ill be bringing a mate down to finish tuning the car so will be taking it easy for a few sessions. i might let the officialdom know so they might put me in a slower group for those sessions. my brother is going to drive his Focus. better than sharing a car. I put a new set of azenis on the front and some used yokis on the rear so it should steer ok.

    can anyone tell me what liscencing is required for these days. Im OK but my brother wants to enter and he doesnt have a L2S liscence. Or is the wakefield day liscence in the price?

    x2. i think we will see some very spirited driving from the back of the field, guaranteed that we will have ferraris and mclaren in the top ten at the end of the race. hope its not a premature end though. hope rosberg doesnt get over zealous into turn 1. Good to see if Mark can get out in front, the team make the correct decisions and the rest will be up to him....no excuses.

    i didnt realise $200 was on the expensive side for a timed track day. its limited to 55 cars i think so should be plenty of track time you would think. how many cars to the speed off the street meetings? i might look into a few of them.
