  1. Thanks for the offers, but i'm just looking for a cash sale now.. need $$$ to fund my RB26 build
  2. Brothers bought a car, so no longer accepting trades
  3. Hey guys, Selling my Chaser, need cash for house deposit and partly for my 26 rebuild It's a genuine SERIES 2 Chaser 1999 model!! 5 Speed manual 109,000km Has the updated (better looking) Tailights, HID's and updated interior. The car is in fantastic condition, the photos speak for themselves! Interior and exterior is in immaculate condition! Only some small wear on gearknob (which can be expected after 100,000KM) I have regularly serviced this car and its always been garaged. Major service was done in Japan at 92,000km. The car only had 1 previous owner in japan, with most of the japanese service history also provided. It was virtually stock when I bought it, apart from the 18" BLITZ WHEELS which still have lots of tread left. I have since added the following: Full Height Adjustable Tanabe Coilovers Titanium Exhaust, super light weight and sounds Incredible!!! Bitz auto turbo timer K&N pod filter HKS blow off valve Engine runs very smooth, all mechanical aspects are perfect, any mechanical inspection is welcome. I'm after $22,000 negotiable or may consider a trade + cash for a manual R33 gts-t as my brother is currently in the market for one.
  4. Hey mate, if you do end up seperating, i'm pretty keen on drivers and passanger door trim. Thanks
  5. Its an ID inspect, so I was planning on going thurs/fri next week (those are my RDO's)
  6. Hey guys, would someone be able to lend me a set of standard 17" R34 wheels. Needed for regency so will need to have near new rubbers. Just need them for a day. Will pay or exchange booze for the favour Thanks heaps.
  7. thats a s#&tload of grunt! Is it for track, drag or.......... street?? on a side note, i'm aiming for a reliable 600-700hp I was planning on using the tomei sump baffle kit, wanting the best protection for the motor. I've read on here that some members use an extended sump with baffles, should I be doing the same ? Or is this just overkill?
  8. spot on! except for I thought his surname was columbo? (like the inspector)
  9. Once again thanks for the feedback, but i've decided to go with Adelaide Engine Developments. The guys there were very easy going, quick to answer all my questions and brought up issues I hadn't previously considered. The wokshop (be it small) is also quite well setup. Engines being pulled out and tuesday! Looking forward to the whole build, hopefully there's not too many hickups!
  10. thanks for the feedback guys, can someone pm contact details for John moyle. Cant hurt to get another quote
  11. Thats exactly why i'm leaning towards Adelaide Engine Developments, i've only had a chat with them over the phone. But the guy I spoke to knew exactly what the go was, apparently they've done quite a few RB26 in the past, and the quote was... a fraction of some others I have received. I'll be checking out their facilities next week
  12. thanks, will call them monday. Not sure, but some quotes i've been given were astronomical!
  13. Hey guys, Im on the verge of having my RB26 rebuilt, so after calling numerous workshops (local and interstate) and after being given lots of different quotes i'm still undecided as to which workshop to use. I was quite happy with the quote I was given by Adelaide Engine Developments, but haven't heard much about them prior to finding them in the yellow pages. Basically im just wondering has anyone here had work done by them? Any input would be muchly appreciated.
  14. yep all the work can be done yourself, and then just give them the car as standard as possible to comply It can get complied as a sil80, so the lights, fenders and bonnet do not have to be changed.
  15. depending on which raws workshop you use, but the ones in sa all charge around $3000 and the car needs to be as standard as possible, so it would involve a bit of work, which if done by a workshops wont be cheap! Thats why its best suited as a track car or it would suit someone that has all the standard parts and a bit of time on their hands to do the work themselves.
  16. It CAN be complied, it was imported through raws, not CAMS (race-use only) which means I have import approval and all paperwork, so it CAN be complied and road registered.
