Congrats lads, Just goes to show what a true supercar the GTR R35 really is, its amazing! To run around Bathurst for five days without fault proves how well built from the factory & how well designed these machines are. Its virtually unimaginable that a standard car can reel off 2.21sec laps around Bathurst. Custom COBB AccessPORT tune plus a custom exhaust system and hey presto... Paul, Congrats on the great time considering there is heaps more to come out of the car. Spark plug issue was a minor distraction with a few light misfires at maximum torque only. This was mainly due to the fact that the car had been previously circuit raced for a full day, which wears the plugs out prematurely, especially at the power level the cars at. A fresh set of plugs are on their way as are other goodies for your car. 10.8 @ 127mph has got to be some sort of record for an R35 GTR in Oz? Does anybody know if any other R35's have run a 10 & if so who?

Hi there, We finally got our COBB PRO TUNER SOFTWARE in, along with our customers GTR R35 for a custom reflashing of the ECU. Results were fantastic with the car making over 380kW at all wheels which is awsome considering that we are still running on standard injectors. The larger injectors have been ordered and with further programing we should be able to dramatically increase mid range torque going by the initial test results on the chassis dyno. Generic & custom mapping is now available from the tuning shop that made the NISSAN GTR the cult car it is today in Australia, Croydon Racing Developments! We will keep you posted on further developments.

The Beast has Woken! Here are the results of the the HKS GT570 system we have installed on a R35. Soon we will post pictures & a video link for all to hear the magnificent sounding BEAST!

OK guys. Let's set the record strait for all the TRENTs out there: 1: The NITTO RB series oil pump is not owned by CRD. CRD has been involved with the testing and development of NITTO's products for a number of years now including the NITTO RB series oil pump. The pump housing is based on a proven design and is obviously going to look similar to other pumps on the market as they are all designed to be installed on the RB engine. Where NITTO went a lot further than the basic mass produced pumps eg: N1, Greddy, Jun etc is that they spent 1000's of hours redesigning and developing the oil pump gears to cure the high rate of existing oil pump gear failure that is still evident with other brands. Guys, you have to understand that "the wheel" so to speak has already been invented. What NITTO has done has further developed the RB pump with more up to date materials which are far superior in strength and durability. 2: As to the manufactures of the Jun and Greddy RB oil pumps, the extreme similarities in both pumps would strongly suggest they come out of the same mass producing factory???? 3: As for getting kicked out of Greddy that would have to be the joke of the week as I personally have made it known in our industry that I pulled out at the time that Greddy Oceania was set up. All I will say without slandering anybody on a forum is which is the worst form of self disrespect anybody can do is to say that we had differences of opinions. End of story. Hey guys, just to shed some light on the power figures, the kW figures at the wheels of the Oz Spec GTR R35 reflect actual advertised engine kW figures so no probs there, its just that the Jap Spec cars are definitely higher & have approx 20-25kW more at the engine from the cars that we have dyno'd so far. Obviously this could be coincidental that we happened to get a couple of really good Jap Spec cars and a couple of average Oz Spec cars on the dyno??? We will keep you updated and post the dyno figures soon!
