just looking for any info on doing a 33 gtr 26 swap into a r34 gts4??? have 2 complete cars but the gtr is a write off so may as well use the good stuff in the 34. any help greatly appreaciated.

I have a standard r34 turbo done 88k came off the car running fine no smoke etc ran at 11 psi on the car only removed due to fittment of a to4z $300. also the manifold is available i have standard injectors and standard cams collecting dust as well. i need to upgrade my ecu as well as the airflow meter has maxed again so i am only looking for offers to see what i can afford i have power fc hand controller and z32 airflow meter to sell as a package only i will sell if i get a good offer. i dont have access to this site very often to check mail so if anyone has any questions at all please email me at [email protected] i am able to check that every day.

unfortunately not thats a pick it up price, still not bad though when i was looking around for a plenum it was goin to cost between 1 to 2k to get a one off custom plenum made and i would have still had to fit it myself.

I had the same trouble trying to find a plenum as well looked far and wide, I used the r33 throttle body on my car i dont think the plazmaman throttle body is raedy yet. i went with a 33 one because the throttle linkage is on the engine side of the plenum there was clearance issues with trying to use a ford xf one the relay box is in the way of the throttle linkage and the standard one is to long thanks to the traction control (who wants that anyway)... oh and using the 33 throttle body the 34 throttle position sensor bolts straight up as well..

Paid 1195 for it. Yeah i searched for so long to try and find one that is a off the shelf bolt on item but had no luck, i heard of some people trying to fit a greddy style or jun plenum but not sure how they went with that.. I Know the inlet runner diameter is a diffrent size though on the 34 compared to the 33 and different idle control motor etc etc so it was good to find the plazmaman one to suit. Was either that or a custom one off plenum

The plenum is a bolt on top section it looks a lot like the 33 one that they do, but the are a lot of subtle diffrences..

Car rego 2 weeks ago plenum last week.... money is tight but yeah will get the dyno prints for this site asap, other than the car being tuned to suit the new plenum ther will be no other mods done for the dyno sheet.

I dont have any loaded on here yet but they do have some pics on there website of the plenum off and on the car. will try to get some good pics on here soon.

The guys at Plazmaman will be able to help anyone out with info on the plenums, (02) 97251728, or www.plazmaman.com. as for the fitting of the plenum it couldn't of been easier everything lined up all bolt hole etc. there are a few little mods that need to happen like re routing of some vacume lines and blanking the original plumback piping etc, and a couple of other little things but all in all a easy conversion, i had the car running again in one day... I am more than happy to offer suggestions or help anyone out with info if they ever need some advise with fitting one...

Hi all, after getting my car back on the road fitted with a custom plenum made by plazmaman to suit my r34 gtt thought i would post how happy i am with the job alex and the guys there have done. the plenum and cooler pipes look great and the car is running great. I was worried about not retaining a smooth idle and things like that but was very happy to find it is running as smooth as factory. still not tuned properly so dont have accurate results but with the same boost level as before i can feel that the car is pulling so much harder, it's only been back on the road since friday so still cant tell for sure but i think the fuel economy might be a little better as well. Anyway a good job deserves good credit... will post before and after dyno sheets when i have them if anyone is interested..

Well thanks all for the help, i got a replacement coil pack on thursday ( thanks ed ) and have been driving the car alot since then and no signs of any trouble at all, so fingers crossed the rest of the coil packs can hold out till i can get some splitfires cheers

I had the same probleme in my old r33 after i fitted a atmosphere venting blow off valve not sure exactly why it does it but i think the computer get confused about where all the air has gone and overfuels so badly that it sometimes stalls or idles poorly for a moment, if i am right you can get things like the apexi s-afc II should fix it for you.

I know it is number 2 because it is the only cylender that doesnt affect the idle when i remove the coil pack connectors one at a time, i also suspected the coils but for some reason it has done this before dropping one cylender but last time one cut out no engine light or anything came on and after the car cooled it came back but like i said no engine or tcs light were shown, cheers l,co

hi people i also posted in the maintenance forums about trying to find any info on why my 34 gtt engine tcs and slip light is staying on the engine is only running on 5 cyl's at the moment no# 2 is out if thats any help can i retreive the codes somehow any help appreciated cheers l,co

hi guys just seeking some help on my car at the moment its a r34 gtt, today when i tried to start it, the engine was running on 5 cyl's only and the engine, slip, and tcs off light all came on and stayed on any help appreciated, is there a self test to retreive trouble codes how do i do it? cheers
