Ben you know my car, though its a gts4 most of the process was the same. Good fun in rwd, but the heavier weight is noticable. Makes 310rwhp with pfc. Total cost for mine gtr half cut (brakes, box etc) $4000 labour $500 fuel pump $200 cooler $200 so all up about $5000, then power fc, injectors, Z32 afms and tune, so with that about 6k.

I'v been with just car since i got my license. First car was a 93 180sx turbo, and the cheapest quote i got was around $2800, went with just third party plus fire and theft, which was around $700. Now two years later its down to about $400 for my gts4 with an rb26. Couldn't justify paying that much in insurance when i only paid just over double that for the 180.

The wiring is a bit different, but doesn't take too long to get it all working.

I just did the rb26 conversion into my 32 gts4. Picked up a low k half cut for 4k, with brakes, gearbox, cooler etc. ceramic clutch was 500 and labour to put the motor in 500. After selling the rb20 and box ($2500) the whole thing came out as $2.5k. Can be done cheaply.

After selling my 4dr gtst, i just bought a gts4 for 14k on monday. Is a black manual with about 90k ks on it. Came with a GTR bonnet, front bar etc. GTR interior, fuel pump, mags, interior and GTR gearbox. Also has upgraded clutch,front and rear sway bars, HKS EVC and exhaust and more. Pretty good deal I thought. Just bought a garrett GT3037, 48ml gate, manifold, microtech, injectors etc to go on hopefully next week. Hoping for around 300 atw. Know of a few examples around but certainly rarer than gtst's.

Hey guys, have had my r32 gts-t now for about a month and am now bored of the power as it really doesnt compare to my previous car. Looking at getting a Garrett GT2871R turbo with manifold, full 3"exhaust, Hybrid FMIC kit, fuel pump, GTR injectors and Microtech computer. How much power do you think i would realistically be looking at?

Got an Ep71 Starlet with 1.5 turbo for racing before i got my license (still own it now) Then bought a bright yellow '93 180sx turbo. Sold that a year later for my '32 4 dr. Not as fast...but will be soon! Drove the 20B cosmo on my L's though, loved that car..
