I've got no issues contacting Murnane about my turbo and hopefully working something out, if thats how your warranty system works then so be it....just a bit dirty that ive put a "new" turbo on labelled as a Slide high flow and its failed with barely any Km's on it. No "sorry about that is there something we can do to help". I now have to take the turbo off and pay to get it sent to QLD. Even if you are only the middle man here it still reflects badly on your business and i will definitely think twice before purchasing anything else if thats the kind of customer support is offered with your products....lesson learnt.

Thanks for the info guys, much appreciated.... I've been fed a few more options from people...so who has used the 3071R on a 20? It looks like a cheaper option...but would it be too laggy even with the smaller exhaust housing? or worth spending the extra money for the L2 kit and be done with it?

That curve is really quite good! I thought it would be way more laggy! I would have the exact same mods minus cam gears as well. If I start a 2 minute noodle diet right now I could probably afford one for christmas.

Hi All, Just had my highflow r34 turbo blow up and dont want another one so im in the market for a new turbo setup. I've looked at peoples results with the 2530 but want something with more punch and top end. My car is primarily used for drifting and I already have all the supporting mods. Who has TD06 kits on their rb20s and which types? is the 20g kit too laggy? Worth the price tag? Any other turbo suggestions? Thanks Guys, Stuart

Well i got a response from Slide and they basically handballed the problem onto the manufacturer of the turbo for me to sort out....thanks guys! here is a pic of what became of mine....massive shaft play side to side, nothing in the cooler piping and definitely no overboosting! oh and I used 8mm speedflow fittings for the oil feed over the recommended drilling of the banjo fitting :S just so there were no excuses

Well I had better add my story then.... Yesterday at the track my Slide turbo did exactly the same thing. Wouldnt have even done 5,000kms. The car was recently tuned and we had 2 boost guages hooked up, no signs of overboosting. Exiting a corner in 3rd gear then BANG! no positive pressure. Upon inspection the comp wheel blades have actually bent outwards towards the front of the car. Nothing could have gone through the turbo and there is absolutely no end float. Going to take some pics and send them off with a please explain and see what happens!!

Nothing wrong with BN only think i dont rate about the FK kits is the rear bar. though half the punters that look at your car probably think you have a vertex kit already..so maybe just go with a cheap vertex if you are at risk of smashing another one to pieces

How it currently sits with the new coilovers...car has heaps more rear grip now...feels 110% better on the road
