I remember a mate who ran a highflow for a short time on the stock ecu, it was fine but it hit the richen and retard of the stock computer pretty early on in the rev range. It limited his power fairly badly and made it use a fair whack of fuel

thats cause the bottom mount is different not the top
Like Anna said the bolt pattern where the strutbrace bolts to is the same and the only issue would be plenum clearence
