  1. Hi Ed, Thanks for the review of my unit. Its great to get all the positive feedback from everyone who has bought one !! When you start getting more into the setup and wanting different strategies for different track sections, don't forget the toggle switch that lets you flick between two complete setups. Mine is mounted in the centre console so I can find it without needing to take my attention off the road. I am currently putting together another 3 of these units if anyone is after one. Just send me a PM. Paul
  2. baboo, sure is. Just send me an email to lock in your booking. I have changed the format so that the numbers in each class and the types of AWD can be a bit dynamic. IanB, its a $30 deposit to lock in a booking. (I thought you were on the mailing list ??) The standard morning session still has spots as well for anyone who just wants to come out an do the normal track day. Paul
  3. Hey IanB you are welcome to compete in the Street class. Send me an email with confirmation of your deposit. Willo, the last two track days both Russell and Cam had issues with things like brakes, engine, tyres, cooling etc and would not have made it to the final round on points. Those guys are so fast because they are pushing the limits of their machinery. keqs, that is a good point. I will come up with some prizes to make it more interesting. Give me a couple of days.
  4. I can't believe I have to miss another dinner !! Man Tuesdays have been no good for me all year. Have fun guys. Paul
  5. Don't be so sure. You have to make it to the end of the event to win and anyone can suffer unexpected reliability and setup problems !!! Consistency will determine the final players.
  6. You can just buy it on the day from the office.

  8. Hey Guys, the sticky post with the records has been updated. I will update the www.TimeAttack.com.au website in the next day or two. Paul
  9. Records on first post updated. Enjoy !
  10. Yea I can't wait either. I am changing the format slightly and will post it up shortly.
  11. Congrats, I didn't realise you didn't have it lol
  12. Its true, kegz was not the guy who spilt the oil.
  13. Thanks to everyone who came out, it was a great day and the rain kept away. How insane was that passenger ride I got in Russell & Marks GTR. That was so cool. Now I know what a 56sec around the Sprint feels like !!! Check out Aaron's collections of cool pics from the day at: http://fulllockphotos.com/timeattack.php I will be updating the hall of fame shortly. Paul
  14. As has been said there is no entry cost. I have reserved pit bay 1 for you guys to setup the BBQ. I don't have any eskies except a small one. The big one that was there last time belonged to someone else. See you guys in the morning. Paul
  15. I'm also in the "Don't trust second hand tyres" camp. The life history of a tyre also determines its performance and there is no way to find that out.
  16. It will be $130 for a half day and $230 for the full day. You don't need to be a member to join in, we just want to get the "Skyline" group together for the day. That does raise the question, do you guys want a half day (which half) or the full day ?
  17. I got mine fixed at MAS near Sumner Park. Did a great job about 2 years ago and hasn't missed a beat. Paul
  18. Cool. Thanks Col.
  19. I meant do you want me to start a new thread in the normal events section about this, or did you guys want to start one from the exec committee. Just wanted to get protocol correct
  20. Can't make it tonight. Have a great time everyone. I will try and get to the next one !!
  21. Do you guys want to put this in the EVENTS section or should I ?
  22. I used to get robbed by Justcar but switched to Shannons for less than half the premium. Maybe a full insurance company ring around with your potential car list would be a good idea.
  23. Shall we lock this in as May 17.
  24. Sorry about that. PM is fixed and there are still spots. Please send through your info. Paul
