  1. ok so how does a 2way help with acceleration
  2. i dont agree with it being to much screwing around, and it would be reliable if its done right, but that is another great option for him to do, if all you want is a bit more power and be able to use it as a daily driver i would go rb26 too, it will make great power with out to many mods but must admit it will be easier then building 25/30
  3. just get a just jap fmic $175 they look good, shiny, brand new and half the price. they flow good aswell for the power you would be making.
  4. SPECIALISED BRAKE AND CLUTCH, there in st marys
  5. this suxs not havin my car back! anyone have a spare car? LOL!!!!!
  6. i had rb20 with about 210rwkw and was in your position. i didnt know weather to build a rb30 or do more to rb20. but i didnt like the lag my 20 had and i thought if i try get more power out of it, it will only get worse. so now im in the middle of building rb26/30. for a rb30 280kw i fairly easy to get and when you want more power the rb30 will handle it(aslong as you build it strong from the start) were rb20 wont go to much further than 280 unless you spend sh#t loads on stroking it and getting alot of head work to get them to flow. so i say build rb30 put some good forged pistons in it, and you will be laughing
  7. i get my second hand slicks from garys motorsport tyres at Arndell Park i pay $200 for 4. he normally has heaps!
  8. unique autosports and powerplay imports are the places to go if your in sydney, unless you wanted to buy private.
  9. 1) rego= rta 2) ctp/green slip/third party personal= insurance company 3) third party property= insurance company to get rego you must pay for no.2 first at the insurance company then go to the rta and give them proof of your green slip then you pay for rego. then you stick your rego sticker on your car!!!! green slip only covers people that are hurt in accidents not property! you need another insurane no.3 to cover the damage you do to their property
  10. i was waiting for the cams lady to give him the meatball flag. it was great to see though!
  11. thanks for the info frink, i already have sway bars and strutbrace front and rear, also adjustable caster/radius rods, adjustable upper rear control arms, front upper control arms also just have a bolt in cage just to stiffin it up abit too, so all i know that i dont have is a good set of coilovers, and handling wise hopfully thats all my car is missing i will need that mechanical lsd for sure, i dont know much about them, any more info on which lsd to go for would be great aswell!! how much did your coilovers cost? thanks
  12. i still feel i get a bit to much body roll but mainly to get the car lower, and be able to adjust dampening. also my car doesnt sit level the rear is alot higher then the front and i dont want to raise the front, and the dont make springs any lower. when out on the track the rear left or right lifts depending on which way im cornering and spins the inside wheel, im hoping this and a different diff setup will stop this.
  13. hey, just need some opinions and advise to which way i should head for coilovers? i have bilstien shocks and eibach springs in my r32 gtst at the moment but want to get more aggresive setup and alot more adjustment plus to get my rear ride height down. there is alot of options out there for track setup like buddyclub teins hks koni etc and also a few aus made ones that ive heard about. but which one to go for???? also where is best to buy from to get a good price? thanks
