  1. Seems to me there is a bad bout of piking getting around
  2. Kin oath! :wavey:
  3. Or more obvious : to take the battery out of a volitile environment and the biggy, wieght distribution for better handling, centre of gravity etc etc.
  4. And riverside is at the start of the motorway so maybe a meet at riverside, then to sunnybank and then on to springwood as a final destination! then because it would seem northsiders will be attending if everyone leaves together then there is a second phase to the cruise because the majority will be heading back up the motorway anyways! Also if you make the meet slightly earlier than the norm than we might avoid the undue attention that friggen twits from BC and the like seem to attract. :PBJ: Only sugesttons as mud is rooting this sheep, i'm just holding the head
  5. I'm keen and i know 2 or 3 other skylines that would more than likely be interested as well seeing its you guys!
  6. I'd be guessing heaps of people do but i'd try a search in forced inductionor post in that section as i'm sure you would recieve more replies from the more technical than general section Hope that helps
  7. Good to see a fellow postie biker Col! Yeh, i know but i'm a tradesman not an english teacher! And i didn't assume you where bagging them out, i simply wanted to reinforce that posties definitely have there place! Thats why there is a huge smile after the first sentence. my appollogies if any offence was incurred!
  8. top result Jas, are you happy with it? It's agreat looking graph but what i really want to know is when are you going to take me for a spin buddy? (If your still up for it)
  9. Hey man, leave the ever faithful work pig outter this  I've got a postie for everyday work hack and erin runner and it is the best value for money machine i've ever had! Removed the last baffle so traffic can hear me which gives the 110cc thumper a piercing note for all pedestrians to behold and all on $4 a week covering approx. 200km on average. Getting to work in the liner takes about 25min which is slashed to 15 on the red rocket. Bike = $600 for 2002 model with 21000Km Fuel = $4/wk zipping past the f#&kwit in the dunnydoor (that speed past, laughing at you) when he's sitting in grid lock burning heaps of fuel going no where = PRICELESS  Considering a one way train ticket is more than an entire week of fuel and rego just over a hundred what more could you ask Bit off subject but i love my postie!
  10. Hi everyone! I consulted a friend of mine that now works for a performance shop about the effectiveness in application of the dfa to my skyline(R32 with full custom exhaust. Othrwise dead stock). He straight up replied that air flow signal benders are a waste of time because a standard ECU will always be trying to return to its ideal base map of tune. which over time will nulify the voltage bender or won't maintain a good state of tune. Now i only plan to fit an enclosed cold air fed pod, intercooler and jay car boost controller in total. All i'd like to achieve is a little power with a decent afr through the rev range and some fuel economy to boot. So is my friend right or is he misguided? And do you think this would be a quality addition to my car for the mods i will have? Any advice is appreciated (especially SK )
  11. Has anyone posted up thier tune results or have i already missed the boat and they've been posted somewhere else. If so can some one give me a link and if not, This is the thread to post them in! Cheers
  12. Just a reminder for those who are interested, it's this sunday! B)
  13. Alls i can think is maybe it's the actual pedal sweep either at the pivot point or where the brake pedal/booster rod are. Not much help but might twig someone elses response
  14. As for the clicking noise I have to admit i am unsure of what this could be but i have a similar occurance except mines more like a notch rather than a click. Have faith, surely some one has looked into this before and will have some insight!
  15. It would only occur when the car is running because the booster gets vacuum which is what assists you to brake! Hence much further pedal travel.
  16. Love to but i'll be in melbourne this weekend But I was told once that life does go on when i'm not around! Who would've thunk it. Keen for another one though at a later date. It was an enjoyable little cruise and get together!
  17. I swear by Chapman & Chapman in stones corner. No bull phecies with a big list of credentials like several targa cars etc. I can only speak from personal experience: put my car in for a tune up due to having a few idle issues. After some base settings tweaking and the correction of a few problems my car is going the best it ever has since i've had it! In fact a couple of people have commented on how quick it is for a stock as a rock (except for an exhaust) R32 Only my experience. Not gospel.
  18. I hear you john! I took off my shirt and the first comment i got was "aren't you going to take off your shirt!" Looked in the mirror and a perfect sleeve and neck line. Bloody f#&king fantastic
  19. Well out of the 2 cruises i've been on, this was by far the best because everyone was socialable, stuck together while on the road (something that seems to go amiss on others) without even a glimpse of stupidity and from go to woh, only approx 4hrs in which there was plenty of time at the spit to chill! If the qld club did something like this but maybe with a $1 sausage sizzle at the spit for a quick social event every now and then i'd be there with bells on C'mon down john! Eagar for those photos mate
  20. Where'd Dan get to
  21. P.S. you're worried about your photo quality, check out mine I used 4.1 MP and the pics are clear as day on my screen but i just looked at the post pics and they look like they were taken on 4.1 P!
  22. Cheers for the photo Jas! Chomping at the bit for the follow on photos and can't wait to see Johns on road photos! B)
  23. Damn it that took forever doing it one by one but here are my elustrious shots.
  24. I only got a few photos but i'll be fked how to load the pictures! I can only manage to add the attachments one at a time which takes for ever. Any link to how to upload multiple attachments would be most appreciated. heres one to tide you over
  25. Hey jason, i'm a newbie on SAU but will definitely be interested in skid pan events and was wondering what sort of deal you had gotten in the past because one of my colleagues with an RB 180SX has gone to learn drift technique. He told me that mt cotton offer what i think he called drift expression sessions on friday nights and sat. mornings for only $80. Which is for a maximum of 12 cars per few hour session P.S. thanks for seconding my nomination of andrew chapman as a top tuner
