Hey, Thanks for the replies! I should have mentioned my mods first, so here they are: Air pod 2.5" exhaust with nismo muffler 600x300x76mm FMIC Electronic Boost Controller Im pretty sure the actual exhaust pipe is aftermarket coz it looks around 2.5" and has the nismo vss muffler on it, but is VERY quiet and seems restrictive, thats the only reason i wanted a larger (and louder) one. My low boost is set to 7psi which i use every day and my high boost is set to 10psi which i flick on to show someone how it goes or whatever which is very rarely. Also, the PFC will remove the speed limiter wont it, as i have hit 180 a few times and the car just dies... if i go say 220, what will the stock speedo in the dash do? Will i need a nismo 320k dash too? Thanks.

Hey all, Before i start, ill just let you know i tried a search but didnt find the info i was looking for specifiacally. I rang around a few places yesterday to get a quote for a new exhaust for my R34 GTT as it currently has a 2.5" pipe with a nismo muffler. The cheapest i got was $1600 for a FULL package. As soon as he said the price, i was like WTF, i might aswell spent less that that on a Power FC and tune and i will get much more power gain off it and the car will run smoother and more efficiently... So, if i buy a power fc and hand contoller, what EXACTLY will i need to do? I have been told i will need a Z32 AFM and harness, but is that all??? I wont be installing it untill the car is on the dyno so as soon as it starts up with the FC installed, it can be tuned immediately... So is it just plug and play with the Z32 and FC, or are there more things i need before i start? I want to get ALL the info and parts BEFORE i try anything so my car will be ready when the time comes to tune it... Thanks in advance!

Hey All, Im fairly new to the forum and just wanted to introduce myself. I drive a 1998 White R34 GTT and live on the sunshine coast. Some of you may have seen it getting around... it had the NSW plates [AK-67-DK] on it until a few days ago when the NSW rego ran out... If any of you coast boys wanna meet up, PM or email me... Hey, Thanks for the replies guys! Yeah, i am using the stock turbo right now with no plans to upgrade it till it dies... I still have stock ECU, injectors, fuel pump etc... My current performance mods are: - Air pod - Exhaust - 600mm FMIC using stock piping I think he meant getting the head machined or something, and he mentioned something about the lifters too... The car only has 56,000kms and hasnt been flogged from what i can tell, so the engine still should be in very decent condition... He recommends getting it done as it is a decent price and gives you more power etc... but if its gonna cost another $500 - $600 for the head, i think i'll leave it. Next time i see him ill ask what exactly needs to be done to it, coz he said he has to get that done by someone else as he doesnt have the equipment to do it... i thought he said its around $150 though? I'll have to double check. Thanks all.

Hey, A mate of a mate of mine offered me a cheap port and pollish for my R34 GTT yesterday and was wondering if i should go ahead with it or not. I have some understanding of what is involved but i just wanted to get more info before i do anything about it. What are the pros and cons of doing it and has anyone else done it to there GTT? Is there a noticeable power gain and saving on economy? He said he will do it for $50 / cylinder = $300 plus the cost of getting the head re-done and it will take about 2 days... is that a decent price? Would people recommend it, and if not, why? Any comments are greatly appreciated! Thanks.
