  1. wheel is stock s1 airbag wheel.
  2. anyone??
  3. I agree with BMW being very high maintenance, have owned a few of them and have always had problems, if your are looking at a e46 coupe make sure you have the sub frame checked as these are known to crack especially the 323ci/328ci, Mercedes and Audi have been pretty reliable, some of the cars i have had have done over 300,000 ams without major problems Toyota/Lexus id say would be less hassle but don't really have the style of a benz etc
  4. are you serious? if you cant do this you shouldn't be working on the car. its that simple!
  5. any decent shop should be able to check it out, they aint rocket science say compared to some euro's
  6. hey mate, bit off topic but how does the Gtr compare to the e36 m3? i can see you used to have both i currently have a r33 gtr and considering getting into the beemer for a change, what are your thoughts?
  7. what ecu are you using? if its the correct one for the motor is should be fine, is the motor stock? good mate of mine is an auto elec ad has been working on skylines for years, what area u from?
  8. its not under the bonnet as i have replaced my cluster with another one and it works fine, im guessing its one of the resistors on the back of the tach
  9. Hey guys, im guessing im having a problem with my steering wheel i have no horn, also the airbag light is on have checked all fuses n connections to the horn so im leaning towards the wheel itself, also have noticed the hicas light comes on when on the freeway. could it be a loose connection or something? but hesitant a pulling the wheel off incase the airbag goes off. anyone else have this problem? or no of a fix? thanks heaps btw its a r33 GTR
  10. have you tried removing the piggyback 1st?
  11. straight swap with a 911?
  12. sorry mate not really interested in a XR5,
  13. I've started my R33 GTR today and found out that my tacho was doing strange things. When the engine is idling, it works ok and shows the real rev value. But when I rev the engine a little bit, if it goes higher than 1,800rpm (approx), it begins working backways!!! The more you rev the engine, the closer you get to 0rpm!! After a given rpm value, the needle is even stuck on 0rpm and is not moving anymore. If you back off the throttle and let the engine slow down until iddle, the needle comes back to life and shows true rev value again (1,000 rpm). And so on. any ideas how to fix this? it started after i pulled the cluster out to change globes, have checked all connections and cleaned them. no avail. ive read it may be a loose earth wire,
  14. car is now definitely for sale, all offers considered just added spitfire coilpacks and Clear front indicators will be going in for full detail so will have pics up asap. Thanks
  15. i know its an exhaust, what is the size of the pipes? thanks
  16. agreed, makes the car look cheap. no offence if you were in melb id maybe consider a swap for r33 gtr mnp, but yeh wheels have to go
  17. What happens to the A-LSD? obviously the r32 ecu wont run it,
  18. thanks guys, reason i asked as i have a spare AFC neo sitting here at home, guess ill just chuck it on ebay
  19. nistune is roughly the same price as a PFC,
  20. Hey guys, ive have a Apexi Afc neo lying around the house that used to be used in my soarer, question i have is it worthwhile installing into the GTR? is it even possible as the rb26 runs 2 afms? my car is relatively stock (turbo back exhaust) and don't plan on major mods, so i don't justify shaking out a $1k for a PFC. not looking for major power gains just a bit more response/torque maybe some economy on the way. any input would be great?
