  1. Gotta start puttin together a list of shit to buy before I move in to my house.. Fridge Couch entertainment unit new mattress Cutlery bowls/plates etc that's the main shit so far..
  2. it certainly is
  3. Yep, anything substantial over 200 is pretty much the dyno. I wouldn't be going past 12psi either as already stated. Even following that rule, it's still hit and miss. People like Paul have been running 12psi on the stocker for years, no worries, I've had mates turn the boost up to 12psi, put it on the dyno to tune it and go bang on the first run. Mine lasted a while, probably over a year from memory, then it let go at DECA and unfortunately took the engine with it, so it's a pretty big gamble
  4. gay either way
  5. Dont suppose there's some way I could sus out what kind of speeds I'd be getting with them before signing an 18 month contract...?
  6. Can't see that bothering me
  7. http://www.tpg.com.au/products_services/ull_pricing.php bit strange, naked actually works out costing more than normal adsl including line rental.. unlimited naked is $69.99, unlimited inc. line rental is $59.99
  8. I'll have to look into the options when I'm closer to moving in...but if I can get naked ADSL2+ with TPG, that'll do me. No need for a phone line as the 3 of us all have mobiles anyway
  9. had a quick look here - http://personal.optus.com.au/web/ocaportal.portal?_nfpb=true&_pageLabel=Template_woRHS&FP=/personal/bundles/broadbandhomephone&site=personal if that's the right thing for me to be looking at, TPG would be cheaper for more bandwidth... Just have to hope it's available and at good speed
  10. From what I can see, if you bundle it with their phone line rental, which I guess I'd do considering I don't have an existing phone line, its $60 a month for unlimited... there'd be 3 of us living there so $20 a month each for unlimited net...how does that compare to cable prices?
  11. There's a phone line here (parents house) my place won't have one unless I put it in, wasn't planning to get a home phone as I don't need one, only reason I would is for internet... http://www.tpg.com.au/products_services/adsl2plus_pricing.php?/pricing/homephone Not sure if you need a phone line, thought that would be something you'd know more about than me? There's ADSL2+ then there's 'naked adsl2+', not sure what the difference is?
  12. or unlimited and no shaping for $59
  13. wrong movie.. How much is cable? not sure if it's available at my new place.. got ADSL here through internode, bit of a rip at $69 or $79 a month for 40gb...Might sus out if TPG is available here, because if it uses the telstra exchange, that's just around the corner so should be fast... If I can get it in my new place, it seems like the cheapest option for a decent amount of bandwidth... 60gb is $39 a month shaped to 256k/256k, doubt I'd use 60gb. or 200gb is $49 a month shaped to 1Mbps and there's no way I'd use 200gb
  14. was it about a dodge viper that morphs into a bullet proof car to fight crime? coz there's a movie called viper about snakes as well I think I want the car one, probably is B-grade, if that, but was a childhood favorite of mine
  15. Gotta love public holiday pay rates..

    Adsl2+ Speeds

My brother rang TPG about ADSL2 at his place (around the corner from where mine is being built), they said it's available, but they can't guarantee speeds in that area... Anyone in a similar situation to that, and actually got the service? Happy/Unhappy with it? Surely it'd still be faster than normal ADSL, and given how cheap TPG plans are compared to Telstra etc...
  17. Basti failing that, autobarn etc. I love SAU's 'upgrades'
  18. Definitely need some kind of pods if you've got side skirts and the stock rear bar... looks weird without em
  19. I sold my car over a year ago..

    Adsl2+ Speeds

I just don't see why brand new estates wouldn't be wired up with the best available...It's common sense
  21. Type M pods

    Adsl2+ Speeds

Most of that is jibberish to me...I put in my brothers home phone number, who's house is about 100m around the corner from where mine is being built, and in the same estate, and it said on the TPG website that it's available there....Not sure how reliable that is, but fingers crossed...

    Adsl2+ Speeds

Hopefully it's available at my house when it's finished being built then....It's just inside the blue zone, and I've been starting to think about what internet I can get when I move in...Wireless broadband is way to expensive for f**k all bandwidth so that won't cut it...If I can get TPG 200gb or unlimited for that price I'll be happy. I'll have to let my dad know it should be available here too, He's paying something like $70 or $79 a month for 40gb ADSL with internode...

    Adsl2+ Speeds

I just put in my phone number, the exchange is just down the road from me...Pretty sure it's telstra, but I'm with internode...anyway the thing I wanna know is, It highlights a section of the map in blue, then lists a whole heap of ADSL plans underneath...Is the blue zone the area in which you can get any of those plans below that say available now? And does anyone have TPG ADSL2+ and if so, are you happy with it?
  25. Usually more expensive to drive these days anyway with all the cheap flights... driving there and back is gonna be a few tanks of juice
