Yeah, that'd be a wise investment.

Looks like you're the one that needs to get your facts straight, as pointed out by Duncan. Gee, don't you look sillier now If Whiting was able to tell Mac so soon after the incident that it was all ok, then I seriously doubt he had time to carry out the same in depth investigation as the race stewards. I also have my CAMS L2S licence, so am MORE THAN QUALIFIED to comment on all things motorsport. As for the petition, so what? So those 50,000 arm chair racers are suddenly qualified to judge the incident all of a sudden are they? Also telling Garage that he isn't in a position to question your authority due to his post count.... Looks like its time for everyone in the F1 thread to bow down to dezz, the undisputed leader!

The moment I saw it, live, I thought penalty. I then heard a few minutes later that an incident between car 1 and 22 was under investigation. I watched the press conference as always, then went to bed for 4 hours sleep before work. I thought about checking the f1 sites at 4am to see if anything had happened but didn't wanna go to work angrier than I already was after the race, if nothing had been done...upon arriving at work my mate informed me of the penalty. Best day at work ever
-
And still, you just don't get it.
-
watching that, he doesn't seem to YIELD at all. He's side by side with Kimi the whole time albeit slightly back, but not behind, and seems to be at full throttle the whole time.
-
The Massa incident didn't alter the race outcome. The Hamilton incident did.

I can't believe you just said that a current F1 driver has no idea what he's talking about in regards to a racing incident. Do you actually think before you post this junk or are you too caught up in your own emotion and love for Lewis that you just take to the keyboard... You would NEVER make a good steward simply for the fact that you CLEARLY let your emotions get the better of you. These guys act on the incident and the incident alone. Period. As for Stewart saying what the stewards should have taken into account, that is one of the most ridiculous things I've ever read (and I've read all of your posts in this thread). I think it was Troy that pointed out already how stupid that kind of thinking is, but I'm sure everyone else in here could post up another 10 reasons why its ridiculous and not going to happen. And some of us hold back in our posts due to their current warn level... As for your second point, I'm glad to know I'm not the only one thinking it...although I'm pretty sure Marco mentioned it not so long ago too...

It's not speculation when the governing body has made a ruling As for the talk of adrenaline etc, thats great. He gets paid squillions of dollars to control himself. Yes he's human, humans make mistakes. Sometimes they get penalised for them. Couldn't sleep
-
Perhaps you should phone your buddy Lewis and give him that advice for next time. If it was such a certainty that he was going to pass Kimi anyway, why the rush and move that was never going to happen with Kimi where he was? Impatient. Paid the price Goodnight
-
You can make whatever argument you want. Hamilton still gained an advantage and was penalised as a result
-
So what? What does that have to do with giving LH the penalty? Nothing. Perhaps if LH was more level headed and patient/sensible, he would have waited for what you seem to think was the inevitable, and coasted passed a stranded Ferrari.
-
Maybe he would have, but due to the fact that Lewis was too impatient, and gained an advantage by cutting the chicane, we'll never know
-
It was actually 'fresh cuts' bagged salad mixes.... I marked em down to about 50c, think the original price was around $5 Customers loved me
-
back in the produce manager days I ordered 50 cases of one of the slowest selling lines instead of 5... was quite a discount on that product
-
As much as I want Kimi to take it, I just don't see it happening from here. Ferrari are not, in my opinion, in a position where they can afford to let Massa and Kimi fight it out, as I think that will pretty much hand it to Hamilton.

I don't think I saw Massa spin at all once it started raining at Spa, there was the race a few back (can't remember the track) where he was woeful in the wet and spun something like 10+ times.... In Spa however I don't recall him dropping it? Maybe you're reffering to the other race which is fine... As for how slow he was going on the last lap, thats what I call sensible. He knows he's not going to catch Lewis, and would have been aware of Heidfeld behind him...So he did what was needed to finish in P2 and not go and do something unnecessary like someone else that I won't name.
-
I'm not even sure its possible, but you just made even more of a fool of yourself than you already have in the past. Going over the line well behind the Kimi? Don't post up the videos that destroy your claims. He's still alongside him when they cross the line. And the fact that he braked so late and would have struggled to have made the corner under the same circumstance if Kimi wasn't there at all, there's his advantage. He didn't make the chicane, he pulled back onto the track alongside Kimi, he was penalised. On a side note, how sad that you've had to resort to attempting to mock my upbringing
-
I enjoyed a normal upbringing, unlike your boyfriend Homoton
-
I love the article featuring Daddy Hamilton I love how he refers to everything Louise does as 'we'...we won the race, we want the title... go drive a Porsche into a fence you flog
-
I think what he's trying to say is that he doesn't see the need to run 100RON fuel in an N/A car... Obviously there's N/A Hi-po cars, so if they're after a bit of a safety buffer from knock etc then I'm sure they'd run higher octane fuel....but your everyday N/A car doesn't need 100RON and isn't going to gain anything from it...
-
Glock also received a 25 second penalty...What a travesty

Too bad your eyes don't have a bearing on the Drivers title ay... Yes, he did gain an advantage. As for how going over 'painted white lines and dirty rubber marbles' is an advantage, you've got to be kidding me, maybe just yourself. You're comparing a straight line to a tight chicane... You say he was the same distance after the finish line as he was when they got to the chicane...There's you're advantage right there. If he took the corner he WOULD NOT have been where he was. End of story. As for how you justify the penalty in relation to the points outcome, you don't. The stewards make a ruling on the incident alone. Points and titles aren't taken into account, and nor should they be. Last time I checked Kimi didn't benefit from LH's penalty.. No we do not all agree. You and maybe 1 or 2 others have an opinion, the majority disagrees with you. And in the same argument you've said that what LH did was perfectly fine, but now its marginal... If you're going to beat your head against a wall at least be clear about why you're doing it. Spot on Bris, well said.

*Inhales... ZING! End of story. Perhaps Adam needs to read the rule. He didn't get penalised for taking a place, he was penalised for gaining an advantage. I hope you're not talking about the majority of the race...Kimi clearly had Hamilton well and truly covered. Even on the prime tire in the last stint when Hamilton closed the gap, KR was maintaining a lead of 1.5-2seconds until the rain came. So pretty boy Lewis doesn't like it when another driver dares shut him down like he so often does to everyone else? So glad to see some more sense being posted in here finally! How many times have we seen Lewis push anyone that has the audactiy to pass him, off the track. It's his god given right after all...No one passes him on the outside, just ask Lewis! Feels like I'm repeating myself once again, but you're a fool if you think Lewis slowed for Rosberg. Watch the press conference. He was, by his own admission, already on his way off the track when he had to avoid Rosberg. Clearly he had not slowed down or he wouldn't have been heading off the track. God I love the Baron!

They can if they say that they recommend it not be used in cars built pre 19XX....
