  1. p1e...anything to do with cooling, ARC would have to be the best...intercooler, oil cooler, air boxes and other stuff to do with air.
  2. Hey calvintys...i had a hicas problem once...same car as you, but when the hicas lighted up the car would then swerve left or right...not sure what was going on there but brought it to my mechanic n they fixed it...cost quite a bit though...said was some control arm thing. have a look on the net...there are plenty of places which teach you to put the car into diagnostics which will then flash hicas error codes if you have any errors with the system. hmm...not sure on that GRID thing. i understand that the 4wd light will only come on if there is a problem with it, but i think if your torque split controller is installed properly then the system shouldn't think there's an error, hence no light?? also, the attessa system is linked with the abs system which could indicate your torque controller is not set up properly, thus causing the brakes to bite??
  3. that one's made by ARC...not too sure on the pricing though
  4. i'm trying to wake up
  5. so u found out it was Apexi bovs?? haha man i was thinking they were really loud for stock ones...anyways yea if u're up for a cruise i should be in...pending assignments
  6. glenn u coming with me n james?
  7. i think the NSXs are quite capable of holding their own in any form of battle with a GTR. Hondas make remarkable engines...it's just that most people don't like FF cars, any they've lost popularity with the majority of the normal people who hate american rice hondas...but how many manufacturers do u know of that makes a 1.6 engine which makes 170hp? i'm pretty sure a DC2 would or an S2000 would impress you with their handling characteristics, so don't put them down.
  8. i have no problems getting the rear to break traction...just gas it...the attessa helps to control the slide not exactly prevent it...
  9. get on the internet to find out...i found out how to get the hicas to flash problem codes from the net...i'm sure melb has some good GTR mechanics out there like the guy who used to tune the GTRs that ran in Bathurst...but he's pricey. geoff...yea i always find i have to correct and re-correct the car on a hard exit so i think a hicas lock would be good
  10. dude i think that's hicas u mean...the whole reason u buy a GTR is because of ATTESSA i''ll probably check the fluid levels and the fuses 1st. not sure how to get the car to diagnose attessa problem codes but if you had a mechanic with a Nissan consult near you that'd help. might be the clutch pack that activates the attessa is worn or spoilt or something.
  11. pics sent also would appreciate it if blitz would let me know as to whether he's still interested. thanks.
