I was at a round-about on a main road and a 4x4 cop was going around. He had right of way so I let him in. It was a 70 zone and they were doing 40 or less (kept looking in their rear view to see my response). So i jumped in the right lane, and cruised upto 70 and then jumped back in the left lane. I made sure it didn't seem fast at all. They didn't like this.. and put on the lights and sirens. At first I thought they just wanted to get past, so I jumped in the right lane again to let them go, but they did too. So I went back in the left lane, and they did aswell. There was no-where safe to pull-over, so when I could, I did (it was probably a 1km distance they followed me wight lights and sirens). Eventually I did, and they just went over the car and asked why my pod filter was a blow off valve (on a non-turbo car) and after i had a giggle they left me alone.

Unfortunately they can. Off memory it's called "Inappropriate increase of speed" or something. Basically; if you gun it at the lights to the speed limit, it's an "inappropriate increase of speed". It carries demerit points and a fine off memory. Also on the note of undercovers, my friend was going home and a guy was tail-gating him, and with no-where to pull over, he slowed down a bit (hoping they would over-take him). They didn't, and pushed more, so he sped up, and they did too, it was a 70km/h zone and he went to 86km/h and got pinned for 15km/h over the speed limit. I realise and know he shouldn't of sped up, but after the slowing down thing, he thought it was the only way to get them off his back.

You need to think aswell if you want to upgrade your brakes, gearbox etc to the turbo ones?

Fuel injector cleaner. What RON petrol are you running? (I ask this because when I filled up with woolies unleaded petrol once mine did the 'bop' sound a lot).

3 weeks ago a guy I know threw a lit ciggie out of his window when an undercover cop was following him and copped a $550 fine cause it was lit. So maybe the cops? Or a council ranger?

Seems as if the cops in my area already started it. Had 3 cops along a main stretch of road. 2 unmarked, 1 marked. Both sides of the road (2 on one, 1 on the other), anyone with P plates = slammed. This was on friday night. I literally saw 2 cops purposely stop and speed after red p platers who seemed to be doing nothing wrong.

There is a guy who sells the brouchers on ebay. I've seen a few go for like $15-$20 Even over $100 one time (I forget what it was).

Just be lucky you don't have red p plates on your car. I've been pulled over 12 times in less than 10 months. Never been fined for speeding. Never defected. Chromies and front bar and wing makes the cops look, when they spotted the red p plate the chase was on. Since my greens and 12 'random breath tests' I haven't been touched.

Buy my 33 N/a and convert it into a track weapon. $15,000 and use the extra 10k to track.spec it.
