  1. Uh... i'd think he would have gotten it by latest end july.
  2. Check that ur installation is correct and that ur piping to the bov is not leaking. Another thing is to increase airflow by adjusting the aac valve located at the intake manifold. Solved the problem for me.
  3. It's better to get a whole new rim. Don't want to be racing down a speedway/dragstrip at 180km/hr and ur wheel shattering due to a hairline crack that's not visible due to the paint eh? Take the safest route out. Besides, u're covered by insurance arn't you ?
  4. Agreed! Suspension setup before power for the track. + driver mods too.

There's a resonator? Then by right it shouldn't be all that bad.. i think. On that note, i frankly speakin have no idea what to do for your case, cause from what i know resonators and such help reduce the sound. Attached is a exhaust theory website that might be of some use. http://www.nsxprime.com/FAQ/Miscellaneous/exhausttheory.htm Maybe we should compare our exhausts one day, i've got no resonator... and it's irritating the hell out of me on long drives, i still have yet to find the $$ to do something about it. LoL P/s:HKS does make a silent exhaust with performance.. so maybe that could be a possible contender too?

I was lookin into this sometime back and a friend had it on his evo with a full exhaust. No cat, no resonator, with a cannon muffler. I noticed the results were substatial. Also, due to ur car being so free flow, a some part of ur low end torque is sacrificed too. So for normal day to day driving, this thing does help, i felt a difference in the torque for normal driving ( or it might be my mind playing tricks on me ). There is still some groan and moans ... but it probably cut the sound by about 60%. It's like putting the screw on air restrictor on ur car at the exhaust tip, somewhere around that lvl, but not as effective. Price wise, as Godthrilla said, it ain't cheap. The valve itself if my memory dosn't fail me costs about $300aud, and the electronic addon another $300 plus. My friend DIY-ed one for his rex, and for his, it was bloody substantial. The problem is, he dosn't wanna tell me how it's done as he intends to sell it.. for about a grand aud. It's like comaring a rex with a straight through and one that's stock standard. Fuggin substantial. Personally, ur best bet is to get a resonator tuned for the rpm range u cruise in. Normally it's about 2k to 3k rpm? After which it's a screamer, but of course it restricts the airflow.
  7. Good luck mate! I really hope and pray that this is the end of all ur woes. *crosses fingers toes legs and arms*
  8. Lombardi brothers in bentley. Best work i've seen. But worst bill ever. LoL. Unless u're gonna claim insurance or u're friggin rich.
  9. Would love to get my hands on one if it's $350 delivered
  10. I have to agree that paying a little more to get fantastic service is priceless. Why pay less for a dodgy job and get urself all fussed up about it? For me, if i can't afford it, don't buy it/do it/own it. Anyway, 5psi u mean. 5bar boost = .... bye bye engine? =)
  11. As i've said above, there are not many spark plugs manufactueres around. And i'm damn well sure HKS asks either NGK or Denso to oem for them. Cause these are the only 2 good spark plug manufactuers in japan. And HKS can ask either of them or both of them to manufacture the plugs. HKS sure as hell won't set up a multi million dollar factory just to make their own. Just like how HKS uses garrett to oem their turbo to their specification.
  12. There are not many spark plugs manufacturers around, and hks probably asks either ngk or denso to oem for them. So at the end of the day, it's pretty much the same, so i'd go with the cheaper choice. Anyway, just wondering, which iridiums are u talking about? The iriway? or the iridium IX?
  13. In a volvo turbo, the temp of the air after the turbo was dropped by a cool 15 degs after adding the water injection kit(i think it dropped from 65 to 50 degrees? If i remember correctly). And in a climate like Singapore, where it's purpetually 33degs avg in the day. It's substantial.. you can really feel the extra oomph. When u buy a kit, make sure the kit has a solenoid (normally closed solenoid) to prevent leaking, cause the cheaper more dodgy kits uses the pump to control flow. This is very very impt!!! Esp if u're doing direct injection to the manifold and not after the intercooler. A better kit has a boost sensor built in and u can set the injection to activate when you're in boost. A good kit allows variable injection rate that can be mapped to ur rpm, and engine load. Had a friend who bought a dodgy kit, left his engine dead. That should say a lot. Prepare to pay about $600 usd for a good kit. Well.. kinda top of the line kit. Cheers!
  14. Use a hairdryer to heat up the badge. Slowly try to peel it off. If the glue is not soft enough, heat the badge more a little. Sooner or later the glue will become so soft that u can peel it off without leaving a stain. P/s: This will effectively destroy the badge too.
  15. rant==Start; What's up with all these Indian call centers anyway? Even optus is using it now. Yes they are cheap, which equals to more company revenue.. but at the expense of their customers? I've had one of the idiotic call center staff telling me that my system is the problem to the bad connection, when i've checked out my systems, did a traceroute to show that it's lagging on their side. She told me to clear my cookies, which for some websites = storage of passwords for forums. She told me no.. sir.. it dosn't affect your passwords at all cause all the passwords are stored in ur ... err... i can't remember what she said. When i called to be covered for the bad connection, a nice australian lady picked up told me no problems and she'll do it. Rox. I got the $$ 3 days later. 3rd time i called regarding a wrongly charged bill, india call center again. I'm always very clam when talking to pple, esp technical support cause i know the kinda shit they have to go through. But the guy straight out told me i was unreasonable for requesting the $$ back for a wrong charge and that the company will never make that kinda mistake. He goes on to prove how i was wrong with a very irritated tone,and after a while of searching, he realised i was right, and didn't even apologise. WTF? He said he'll credit me, 1 week later, still no $$. Personally, optus should really do something about their call centers and management. P/s: Calling to optus is like playing jackpot. I got disconnected calling them 4 times and connected on the 5th time. What a waste of $$ and time. rant=Finished; If(rant==Finished) Exit(rant_mode);
  16. I helped a friend do some pizza delivery. The problem is, their company cars are all busted. In the end. Pizzas were gettin delivered in a supra, s15, s13, DC5 and my line. LoL.

Depends on your luck. Some of the copies from china are of pretty good quality. Not 100% exact to the original thing, but about 90%. So it depends on who manufactures them in china. Best to ask around and see which sellers sell the better ones. Bang for buck. =D
  19. You've experienced about 0.48% of perth pubs! Do i win the loser award?
  20. You seemed as if you were about to go nuts about the price of the insulator and o rings. LOL. Chill dude!
  21. I think he meant just installing.. not gettin them. You could try Evolution R. Address is 9 Capel court, Bentley.
  22. having used lotus notes in school before. I never knew why in the world pple actually bothered with lotus notes, i could gather a few geeks and they'd probably be able to do something wayyyy better in 1mth than what lotus could do in 1 year.

my stocker car has been having some probs recently. Used to go about 10k/litre.now it does about 400km/50litres. I think my afm or something is stuffed. Runs wayyy tooo rich. Ocassionally loves to hunt too. Need to find out the prob soon, but i don't drive the car much so i don't feel it as much. Oh wells. p/s: anyone got any idea to my prob? I searched around and came up with, O2 sensor, AFM(which i already cleaned with contact cleaner), The thing at the end of the plenum.. what's it called again? LoL. Those are the 3 things.
  24. i think he meant for a set of 12 it's 20 bucks
