  1. hahaha mate you'd feel it kick in!!! but it will still make ur car illegal. lol CJ
  2. owell, personally i wouldnt go spending money to 'hide' a turbo, cause the cops will find it, not all cops are as dumb as they look (yes i know alot are dumb, but occasionally you get one that acually owns a skyline or just knows his mechanics) my 2cents, il leave it at that. but if you do it, post pics, as im a tad curious where abouts you will mount it and how the car will run. (you might have that much lag you'l be better off with the NA lol)
  3. you are talking "races" at the drags?
  4. if you have already been done by the cops for driving a car your not allowed to, then they will be keeping a close watch on you when your back on the road, especially if your still seen driving the same car they booked you in. why not just wait out your 2-3yrs and modify the NA, pay off the car, save some money. then when your off a restricted licence go crazy on a turbo'd car.
  5. why dont you just get it tuned proply so you dont need the idle stabilizer?? or change the BOV if thats why its stalling...much easier to fix the problem then 'hide' it.
  6. since ur profile says you only got a GTS and not a GTST then i wouldnt bother about rebuilding a non-turbo RB engine, just save and buy a turbo'd engine in the first place, if you got the GTST then as blitz said... alot of questions you have to ask yourself before you ask us, eg, what do i used the car for, how much power i want, will i want more power later on? CJ
  7. umm...right, whats this thread about again?
  8. no one likes the new pricing and descriptions...??
  9. Here is a basic guide to clutch power holding capabilities: Standard - ~140rwkw - Standard Replacement Only HD - ~180rwkw - Basic Modifications (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC) - Great For Daily Driving HDB - ~250rwkw - Mildly Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade) - No Recommend For Daily Driving (On/Off) HDCB - ~240rwkw - Mildly Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade) - Good Option For Daily Driven Vehicle with Mods SO - ~240rwkw - Mildly Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade) - Great Option For Daily Driven Vehicle with Mods SC - ~300rwkw - Heavily Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade, Camshafts etc) - Great for Track with Some Road Use) RC - ~300rwkw - Heavily Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade, Camshafts etc) - Great for Track Use Only) Hyper Single - ~330rwkw - Heavily Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade, Camshafts etc) - Great for Track with Some Road Use) Twin - ~400rwkw - Heavily Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade, Camshafts etc) - Great for Track with Some Road Use) Tipple - ~550rwkw - Extremely Modified (Exhaust, Aftermarket Air Filter, FMIC, Increased Boost and/or Mild Turbo Upgrade, Camshafts etc) - Great for Track with Some Road Use) now dont forget...if you have a 200kw car with a 300kw clutch but you ride the clutch and do not drive proply it can burn out even though you do not have the power figure it's capible of handling...thats why its hard to put a power figure to each clutch kit. cheers CJ

  16. hey guys, i have been talking to Andrew from Kudos Motorsports, and he is willing to provide even better prices on his clutch kits if we can get more then 5 people interested to buy a clutch kit. ok well since i got the interest we needed i sat down with andrew and worked out pricing...here it is... 17. i havnt had the experience personally, but a mate of mine has and 2 others that got it done at the same workshop. apparently when it goes on it creates a air pocket that can not be bleed out? (even when fully pressurised) unless you change some of the cooling piping. maybe cause all 3 people had the same problem (all a rb25) from the same workshop it was the workshops fault? tad over priced to!!
  18. do a search mate, been covered quite a bit lol.
  19. im not a fan of the plazmaman plenums, dont get me wrong they are built great, but iv seen a few people now having cooling issues. CJ
  20. fluffling noise?... does it missfire at all? when last did you change your plugs? how much power do you have? standard clutch? (sliping) if you can answer those questions it will help us to diagnose the problem a little better. cheers CJ
  21. :S sounds right. i dnt really know what ur wanting to know...go see some of your mates who own skylines and compare the sounds. bit hard to hear a exhuast leak without acually being next to the car or underneath. CJ
  22. just to make us work harder to pay more bills on our pride and joy (skyline) haha
  23. pull them all out ONE BY ONE and put back in before you pull the next one out haha. and just see which is stuff'd, i couldnt imagine you'd have more then 1 blown.
