  2. they have ported exhuast housings, and ss manifold, tomei cams, big valves, 88mm pistons etc.... I thought my boost gauge was wrong lol....its all good
  3. the car made 360rwkw with 12psi....no idea on 1.3bar also have installed Apexi filters and an ARC twin entry intercooler since that dyno run....oh and tuned it from 10:1 to a more healthy 11.0 to 11.7:1 AFR. Unfortunately my data logging played up on that pass...always the way
  4. pm pls
  5. 11.5 @120MPH 1.09 bar of boost $110 later and one ANDRA licence 1.3bar of boostd = blown gearbox
  6. i'm out. Ran a 11.5 @ 1.09bar, started my second run on 1.3 bar...lent on it and hello!! time to rebuild the gearbox for the third time....grrr
  7. I should be able to make it, if i don't break anything at WSID. Matt
  8. Anyone heading down tomorrow.. I'll be breaking the R in for the first time.
  9. I have a GTR now, However a friend bought the turbo from me...still all good.
  10. its a bi-product of burning fuel. It is more apparenty when the car is not fitted with a cat convertor, and less apparenty when the exhaust is hot.
  11. good point by r33 racer to....
  12. You fried a chip inside it. I've fixed tonnes of these.....I'll find the thread..
  13. IMHO these are the best cams you can use for a street driven car with a turbo smaller than a GT3040, They give more power EVERYWHERE even at idle !! I have a set of poncams in my GTR, took 2 hours to install. Adjustable cam gears are not required as they are set perfect from the factory. The search button will reveal massive support for these. Most other cams have a non-standard base circle and require head modifications to fit. So why buy another brand which will cost another $1000min to install.
  14. do you realise the front guard is aluminium and can only be replaced not repaired.........
  15. sticky lifter from the motor sitting around..
  16. Ignition cut on turbo engines tends to cause fouled spark plugs....
  17. I'm sure these should b drop in replacements....
  18. Yep RB30 block is the go !! torque = good drift
  19. Mine is the same, the throttle bodies have a teflon strip which is usually cleaned off by excited people cleaning them(including me). Its there to stop them sticking....an adjustable cam wheel will effect idle rpm aswell. blocking off the idle air temp compensator when the motor is cold will solve the problem but the idle goes back up when the motor is warm. ps when the throttle bodies get dirty the idle will drop, mines sits at 1000-1200.....which I don't mind as my cams seem to need it.
  20. pics added. I have some stainless 3.5" pipe with a 3" flange to go with the muffler if required
  21. Have some front pipes for a GTR 2x2.79"(70mm) to 3" equal length design $150 Fugitsubu Cannon Muffler 3.5" inlet $60 has a few sratches on the bottom and marks on tip from o2 sensor clamp Located in Sydney west Matt
  22. I made 360rwkw on only 13psi at ADVAN. Engine has 88mm pistons, cams, oversize valves etc. TWO.06L on these forums has run a 10.3 with these turbo's also
  23. I also noticed the new TRUST and Apexi front pipes aren't equal length
  24. yep, been researching as much as I can I think I will save my money on spaghetti bends and get a nice collector.
