Hey guys, I have decided i dont like this hot melbourne weather, specially when im in my BLACK car. I was wondering if anyone know any contacts or cheap places where they do a good job. I know you get what u pay for but i dont think i wanna pay 400 bucks to tint a car. I hear some of the cheaper ones go green and bubble. I want it to be as dark as it can without being illigal, however i dont mind if the rear passenger windows are as black as the paint colour. Anyways plz let me know if anyone knows someone that does a good job. Thanks.

Hey Bro, I got a 93 R33 gts-t auto, and ive smoked a lot of cars. And mine is stock as a rock. i got nothing new to say, most of the other guys have said most of the stuff. The power button helps. Ive noticed that having o/d off from a standing start slows the car down. However, when ur crusing at like a 100, turning turn o/d on and it flies to like 160 in no time. On a cold night i timed my car with a mate with a low fuel tank on BP ultimate 0-100 ina round 6.7. which aint bad at all since even the exhuast is stock. the trick is to not floor the accelerate pedal all the way down. be forceful, but smooth at the same time so u dont feel the engine about to choke. eventually you will kinda know how to guide the gears to change when u want them to. Hope this helps.

Exactly what Gester said. I dont think its CV's cos if it is CV's why would it stop/lessen after the engine is warm? and plus mine is a GTS-t so its not 4wd.

Hey guys, Recently i have noticed that my car makes a bit of a clutter sound when ever i full turn the steering when i park/turn at slow speeds. Specially when reversing. I dont know why this is and was wondering why this maybe? also worth noteing is that it has been extreamly cold in Melbourne in the last few days and prehaps this is another reason why its making the clutter sounds. would appreciate you guys imput in this matter. I woudlnt reccomend running 11-12's even on a cold night with stock internals. It's just not good for the life of your car and turbo. Hey guys, its time i servcied my R33 Gts-t and i was wondering if any of u guys reccomend a really good OIL and Coolant for my car? i donno whats in there Now, and there are so many diff brands on the market! what is the most commonly used and most effective for Gtst's? / or jap imports.

What kinda wing is it? is the the flat one or the curvy one?

51jay: how does a stock GTR intake look like? cos all the R33 GTR's ive seen have dual pods? if i could see one, maybe i can change mine to work like a GTR lid.

hmmmmm ye... i got a stock r33 Auto and i have done a few 6 secs 0-100's on cold days using the 1-2-D method. Dont do it all the time cos is bad for the motor, but jus to see how much i could push it. Must say im very impressed with the RB25, dont make that much noise when ya redline on cold days. Could easily hit a 100 in 2nd gear.

whats the power out put of the headunit? (per channel)

lol @ Zdenko, I think i got like 40kw's more now that i got a Nizmo sticker on my windscreen. the mind boggles on how much HP i could get with some stickers on the side of the car. shick mate. like fully.

hmmm i dont know why pplz do all sort of stuff to there cars like puting the boost up if ya gonna lose to a excel off the line. Thats hitting rock bottom. Gts-t's even in stock form like full stock form, can rip most cars off the line. I understand by putting a bigger and better exhuast and better air intake mods the car will have more power, but whats the point of having XXX RWKW's if its not properly tuned? so many cars i see now on the roads that on paper looks very intimidating, but on the road dont perform all that great. (And in many cases worse off than a stock version) Is a waste of time (And money) if ya dont know what ya doin. Anyways i thought id add my 2c worth.

Hey guys, i got a R33 gts-t Auto as well. And it launches really well. can beat a lot of cars off the line, even rex's. however like DennisRB30 said, they catch up. which is a bit depressing cos thats when the manaul skylines kill the rex's in 2 and 3rd gears. But im a P plater and this is my first car and is a pretty awsome car. Aw and it's Stock as a rock, ive only changed the gear or the 'shift' stick cos i find the skyline auto shifters a lil boring and i have a newer shifter where u press the shift button on the top rather than the side and it also has a O/d button as well (OBX 80 bucks). the 1 - 2 - D works well, i have found that it is quicker to go from 0-100 then letting the car do it. I have driven a few manual skylines and they feel a lot faster and the kick back when u floor is much better. THe o/d off on freeways gives very quick acceleration, say from 100-145 with ease but drinks fuel like no tommorow. but auto's drink more generally anyways. the fuel consumption is shocking. Auto skylines are a great choice if it's ya first car. im getting off my P's soon so i think is time i moved on to the wonders of the manual world

DAZ: Well it was a 300zx was hard to tell if it was TT or non T. BUt it was no where to be seen as it was way behind. But a R34 GT-T would be quicker than a 300zx simpley cos of the Power to weight Ratio.

I jus got home and read the thread, i was comming down the highway and ran into a what was a done up mid 90's WRX i have a fully stock R33 Gts-t and wait for it... Automatic as well. (by the way a 300zx was on the other side) and it was on. Lights went green and it was on, belive it or not i ripped him at the start and i hit a 120 b4 him but had to slow down cos it was a 80 zone and coppers was everywhere. Then he zoomed past as if he was a hero. it was a loud car. the 300zx was no where to be seen. So there. I ripped a Rex with a automatic skyline. Thought id add my 5 cents worth. But dont get me wrong. Wrx's are nice cars as well. But come on, at night when suns gone down and those 4 red circle lights at the back shines, how could u ever go past a skyline? maybe they made the back good looking cos thats all the Wrx drivers will see

With the Clarions, I had some as well but they have a cardbored cone, and easily crack. what conditions are the ones you got in? and isnt 90 a bit 2 much for them? when you can now get brand new ones for around that price.
