  1. 1000 when fanging it to my tank, which is about 50l
  2. technically you get good fuel economy to, because it's never driven lol
  3. probably why I wouldn't go back to a performance car unless it's a straight weekender after the golf diesel is awesome economy
  4. Yeah I've got one in the Golf, works great bad English is a necessity
  5. Yeah all plug and play. Also can just buy a 10.5t housing for the rear and modify the stocko Thats all that's bigger 7/8 run 9.8t and from 8mr/9 they run 10.5, would be cheaper probably doing it that way but a bit more hassle pretty tough, people have too much money though also needs better front tyres and to weight down the front, would be dangerous driving down the road at high speed in it Our tractor at 30km/h is all over the road, they aren't meant for high speed, especially with skinny tyres
  6. Oh yeah. The spring thing isn't so bad though, will never leak with how tight it always stays If you can find a cheap mr turbo for time being, chuck it on when you do dump front. Will have so much more fun
  7. buy 8RS turbo..... titanium wheels and even more responsive than an 8MR about $1k to $1500 though
  8. Yeah I would avoid the combo ones if they are one piece, my mate got a MAP 1 piece and its a pain in the arse to take off and put on I'd get two separate pieces myself yeah that's at its max, the MR only has a larger turbine housing and the 9 has larger comp and turbine housing Not ceramic, and won't really damage anything but you will notice a lot more response mostly from upgrading them, as well as power 8MR turbos are cheap, I picked one up for $350 delivered from the US
  9. check fb all there LOL They were probably in disbelief of the shit that they do to their cars Zage dumps are the biggest separate dumps, some aren't even 2.5" Custom is the only way to go anything bigger than 2.5, I was running a Zage no problems. http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Turbo-Dump-Pipe-Mitsubishi-4G63T-Lancer-EVO-7-9-Outlet-/281016580474?pt=AU_Car_Parts_Accessories&hash=item416de4b97a&_uhb=1#ht_2015wt_1397 These are Zage ones... Buy here for $15 compared to $300 from Meek You can go a MAP Performance split dump front pipe, but it is an absolute headcase of a fitting, it's hard enough getting the dump off with the rear nut The link I posted is the best way to go, unless you go custom 3" dump which for the power your chasing is no point
  10. LOL @ Auto Euphoria cruise..... Pretty much all Eye Candy cars lol
  11. Could it possibly be the coilpack loom? I've known a few times this to be the cause too They go all hard a crispy after heating up so much after time, and some of the clips break etc
  12. Yeah they are pretty big inside, boot is huge too But then it is a lancer
  13. I'll do it for $100, normally charge $120
  14. That's what they look like, I had them made cause I had heaps of CF and carbon wrap looked shit house on my naca vent so had them made up as no-one is selling them for 7s After I sold my evo few evoOz guys wanted them so had a few made up for them through my supplier. Currently only person selling them in Aus
  15. avoid 10's, everyone I know whats to go back to 7/8/9 that owns one too heavy and not as nimble as the previous models
  16. I've got 3 naca (vent on side of bonnet) in CF for sale..... just saying
  17. haha never said it was a problem
  18. Dunno yet, wait till get them on and see But I may be selling either these or the 18s So if I'm keeping 18s, nothing done to my guards LOL RICBURN!!!
  19. Finally 17's are together!!! now just wait a day or so for sealant to dry and get my tyres fitted
  20. haha no its not, 235kw + launch control + 255 Federal SS's was just wheel spin in mine could also slide corners if you powered out at the right point
  21. haha that's through town on freeway i get 23 to 25km/l depending on road incline etc, but usually hangs around 4-4.5 litres per 100km expect around 300-350max around suburbs, the small tank is a killer also they do drink being so responsive
  22. I do regret it a lot, however at the time I was sick of imports. As a matter of fact I'm still pretty sick of them Golf gets attention, but not the bad kind and it sits at about 50mm off the ground and has no exhaust
  23. do ittttt well I guess it's more for cost and sourcing parts you need to rewire the whole mivec wiring into the ecu as well and the head alone is at least $1500 plus wiring
  24. One of my mates cars, currently for sale too Thing is awesome in person Shit that's a lot of work to be done to do a mivec conversion, that's a awesome car Engine I presume was rebuilt too? Always a fix for cosmetics brah If you plan on modding bang for buck they become a lot cheaper than a skyline though about $2k-$2.5k will net you a stock evo to 230ish kw That's full exhaust, licp, bigger turbo, remapped, ebc and can probably even budget cams in there if you get the exhaust cheap enough $5k will get you to 300awkw Yeh but runs the 9 rear bar so looks good cause it matches
  25. Nah just a small piece that you paint, can always change to different colour if you don't like it Lots of the evo guys go red on a a white car, although I've seen purple and looks good too. There is a thread on evolutionOz.net that shows finished ones and how to do it Yeah sure, I'll give you a hand
