Oh here we go, all the microtech haters will pipe up soon I had a safe "ish" tune on an lt12s, that meant it was a bit rich which was what i asked to. But blocked cat and changing plugs? No way. Get the tune fixed. Id start by calling a tuner and saying "i want a tune on my microtech but before you ask, no im not looking to buy a different computer i know this one is very basic compared to the current marketplace but as its basic it doesnt take long to tune and doesnt have a lot of things that can go wrong" BTW i was quite happy with my one, if i didnt need more features for the direction this car is going, i would still have it in there

Yes, prices are very, very high for most strokers. But, you get quite a lot in return for your money. Id be happy paying 10k AUD for a stroker (HKS step 3 anyone?), just not USD with the exchange rate as it is If you're getting a good stroker, may aswel get the best...

How cheap are flights thesedays? If you can get cheap flights id order the parts, then agree on a date when they'll be ready, come over and pick them up yourself and pay on the spot for them. Then send them to yourself using pack and send (who are just up the road from JSAI) and fly home. Bring the Mrs - make a weekend out of it

You'll be suprised how much nicer they act at 15psi But yeah they're pretty crappy turbos, and the ceramic wheels are dodgy as all hell. I doubt you'll find anyone on here who wouldnt recommend changing them as soon as the budget allows The most responsive direct replacements are HKS GTSS, or Garrett 2860-7's for the budget minded.
