  1. GTRS's. No question. So much linear power. The TO4Z GTR's ive been in have had a quite violent power delivery, which as fun as it is - isnt as drivable IMO as a set of twins. I had a single on an rb2630, then swapped for GTRS's on an rb2630 and the twins even making almost the same power are so much easier to use and quick without the "whoa fu(k does this thing have brakes?" feeling. The twins put the pace on and get to 200kmh without making a fuss of it Go with whatever you like, but the above is what ive personally found and id definatly recommend them Have you bought all the parts? What have you got?
  2. $6000USD? Hahaha, no fkn way. You can build a completely psycho RB26 for the same money - and thats a complete motor, not just the rotating parts
  3. Its a shame the touge event wasnt something everyone could enter. Btw guys, if you're looking to hire the facility, i wouldnt bother. Its cheaper to hire sutton rd and you get more inclusions. I think you'll all be suprised at the rental price for the day at Marulan. I was suprised, and dissapointed.
  4. A very good mate of mine has a quite large property at Mt Wilson. Its a frequent place for weekends when we both take the cars out for a run. There are some very nice corners on the way there, but the road that actually leads to Mt Wilson is quite shithouse with the exception of the 180degree uphill corner most of it is bumpy. So take it easy Before you guys go organising anything for the R32's FYI the club is already organising an anniversary with some heavy hitting cars
  5. Where can you get the 044 for $170? PM me if you like They dont look much good, but they get the job done
  6. GT35 is laggy? I can think of at least 4 cars straightaway you would hate
  7. Thats fast
  8. Agreed. Well played Sir
  9. Probably shouldnt say incase Boz or anyone else gets in trouble
  10. Shame i dont have a pic of the CP's that came out oval shaped....
  11. Gibson R31 and Gibson R32 on track with no other traffic (well, there was an R35 somewhere in the mix) to muffle their sounds. What a fantastic day of spectating. Once again Boz, thanks for starting the thread, much appreciated
  12. You make some good points as usual mate I can help to define "hard" on that particular GTR, as i drove it on several days. More than once it had to be driven home using the handbrake and engine as brakes as the new discs and pads were worn out (literally) after its on track adventures
  13. +1 to shanef's comment. They go well enough without squirters
  14. Stop taking their advice - they're wrong Supra's also have sequential turbos (and they are shit) FYI

  18. Hows the search going Bobby?
  19. Best place for this is the Qld area, so ill move it for you as the rest of the banana benders will know the local laws. Thanks for using the search button
  20. N1's dont have those pods. GTST's did and some GTR owners put them on their GTR's
  21. Computer program Dave to design things/parts
  22. Yeah Brad time for a new gearbox. Was hard to hear at times over my old wastegate (love that sound the s15 makes, almost as much as the GTR's fuel system) Wow, what a cool beetle! What sort of things are you building it for?
  23. Did the previous owner give you a list of stuff done to it before you bought it?
  24. Keep the stock tank but run an external surge tank mounted in the boot - thats easier than changing the stock fuel tank
