  1. Thanks everyone for the replies and info - certainly a lot of info has just come out of the woodwork! Car's all fixed and boosting away like it should
  2. Love the front lip!
  3. Looking forward to NSW pricing
  4. Dont worry the effort is very much appreciated by all
  5. That sucks!
  6. Mmm i see. How many points do you have in total on your p plates?
  7. What for?
  8. Bottom end first But yes, I will take you up on your offer from that call
  9. I think you do aswel, funny how that works! Shopping has started.
  10. Looks like ill have to be in touch soon. Thanks! No, i leave that stuff to the eggspurts
  11. Where's Rob when you need a full house RB30 GTR dyno graph?!
  12. Oh here we go... Stock GTRS's? Big power figures are nice, but torque is what im chasing. Maybe another 70/80 kw atw but as much torque as possible. With that said im trying to find out what cams would be best for the next motor (which is coming together, starting at bottom end first though). I promise the next motor in the GTR will be a suprise to a lot of people after my "RB30 for life" antics. But thats for another thread once its finished and run in, and it'll stay quiet until then. At the end of the day this is a comparison thread, so why dont you make it 100% fair and take your head off, put it on my RB30'd GTR and dyno that combo? Short of that, we'll just have to see whats wrong with the SM4 and be patient until its all humming along. Know anyone who can fix it and not charge an arm and leg? Would love to know how the thing broke... Correct. I now know the common element between your engines, and have "seen the light" so to speak.
  13. Looks great Ben Sure it will be spanking out killer laptimes soon
  14. No dramas mate
  15. Sure? EBC said 18psi before the microguess came out today (maybe i got the BAR to PSI conversion wrong? You generally are good at remembering that sort of stuff though) It was changed during the road test Either way, im dying to get the autronic fixed and back in the car and get it over 20psi One thing you guys considering doing the RB30 conversion will have to remember, is that good blocks are getting harder to find. There's a heap of stuffed ones out there, but good ones arent that easy to find. Cranks are worse again
  16. Here's one for now to keep the thread going, 18psi safe tune on old ECU;
  17. Guys, as soon as the ECU is fixed, ill turn up the boost and post a graph. Paul can then overlay that on his if he likes, not for highest power output, but for "usable power" as thats the point of this thread Please dont forget mines not a full on drag ported head and has far less appropriate cams for internet arguments. With that said, pauls graph is at 25psi, so ill tune it to the same for comparison sake Im not trying to compete with paul, but trying to show the 26 vs the 30 with so many other variables being similar
  18. Tangs? Yeah well, lets see once the Autronic is fixed...
  19. Well done Rob, you're selling a higher quality and proven part for less than the Australian parts. Ill be in touch soon to take one Paul - sometimes people need to stack pallets quickly...
  20. Great, thanks Any chance we can have a few pics please to visually compare to the ProEngines kit? So people reading this thread in the future can see the actual differences before making a purchase. Btw thats better priced than the ProEngines kit pending shipping, id guess you've sent these by themselves to Australia before. Do you remember how much they are delivered? Quote in NZD if easier Also for the more extreme guys; what sort of dollars are they looking at for the billet kit? Ill assume they both come with bolts etc ready to go as a bolt on part With your 240z motor being so reliable and deep into the 8's (well done btw ), im suprised the billet kit exists. But like you said, its good to know the limit of the stock parts
  21. A mate got a pic of the car and did it for me - i think there's a thread about them somewhere if you search Back on track: RB30 > RB26
  22. Suit JZA80 supra twin turbo?
  23. Hey guys Still clearing out the place of all the gear ill probably never use for whatever reason. Up for sale today is a brand new (literally, never used) Trust extended sump. The sump has been welded to the RB26 normal sump by Hypertune making this the perfect "bolt on" RB26 circuit/street wet sump. The whole thing was also sandblasted by Hypertune. Comes with everything in the pics including pickup. Replacement cost for this is pretty high; -Oil pan kit: $595 -Stock sump: $300ish -Labour to cut and weld: $400 Total: $1295. Ready to go as you can see. Pickup is DEFINATLY the best way for me, but at buyers expense ill post it once full payment is made. Location is South Sydney. PM me or reply here. Price is $900, if thats not the market rate then PM me offers, but be warned: Im pretty firm on price, and as always - Stupid offers get stupid responses Here's a few pics below, before asking, no i dont have any pics installed as its brand new
  24. Wow, the gopro actually has quite decent video! Im suprised! Did anyone get pics of the white r32 gtr on the back track?
