FYI the genuine CV repair kit (and the CV itself) are suprisingly affordable from most Nissan Stealerships Ive done 3 so far from launching and a buggered engine mount (which was also caused, by launching)

Ive been through a heap of these fkn things. Annoying at $400 a pop. In the end mine kept letting go cause the engine mounts were destroyed and rocked the motor right over on launches or even just a decent rev. That of course means the sump will move which is attached to the driveshafts and CV's and then you have that annoying sound of the CV going off to car part heaven

This was a great event (was there for about 13 hours), such a shame the crowds werent bigger The whole 12 hours was neck and neck between Evo's which was good to watch, the WBR WRX has a huge stack at 150k's into a wall and the word floating between teams was that they'd said nothing could be salvaged, they dont know how many G's it pulled on impact cause it broke the G meter. There was absolutly SH!TLOADS of front rights blown out on the inside edge, some cars would be in every 30 mins for a new one. That was pretty crazy! Daces ute locked up and understeered into a wall very early resulting in bent steering rack, control arms etc and a crack in the sump so it was all over for them - shame cause i was hanging out in their pit all day and the guys were looking forward to a big day of racing!

Meh, you get "used" to power over time, i thought 262kw atw was quick. Then got very, very used to it. Add another 100kw and thats more enjoyable for a while, then another 100kw.......
