Hey guys, Ive put tomei cams in my current motor, and to my suprise had to buy new buckets as i didnt realize they have a different base circle to stock cams. Turns out im not the only one who's fallen for this trap. As an example, i thought cams would cost about 1k, but then add the buckets and thats 2k. Now, if HKS (for example) cams are 1400 but dont require buckets then you're about 600 infront overall. Make sense? So, this thread is to hear peoples experiences with cams - who's had success with what etc but more importantly; Do JUN cams require bucket/shim/whatever changes? I know springs should be changed to match lift - but other than springs, what else needs to be changed? I need to get cams for the next motor im building, which is underway currently (starting from bottom end first) and would love to just get the right cams this time without spending huge amounts of coin Thanks everyone

Im using a supra twin turbo as a cruiser, but here are the other setups i be more than happy with (and sometimes wis i did instead of the supra); Stagea 260RS -Teins -Project Mu discs and pads -Stock motor -N1 turbos -PFC -ARC airbox -Tomei dumps -HKS front pipes -HKS silent hi power catback -Decent sub, cd stacker -Tinted windows -Any JDM style rims aslong as they're dark Chaser -GT35R -Supporting mods -JDM suspension (Tein, HKS etc) -HKS silent hi power exhaust Mitsubishi legnum (sp) vr4 -Lowered -Rims -Stock everything else FYI the supra has a GT35R here, injectors etc all waiting to bolt on - and its an auto so its dead easy to sit in and cruise all day long. Plus getting something with an RB26 or 1/2JZGTE makes a great base for reliable power and great torque for street use, well, the RB26 will last for a while if you dont need big power for a cruiser

Hey guys, Cleaning out more stuff, got a Nismo radiator cap from my GTR. Used for 2803k's. Its in perfect condition and is only not being used anymore cause of a different radiator, other than that it did the job just fine. Price is $65 delivered, not negotiable so dont bother asking. Here's the tricks; 1. Dont rely on speed in 3rd gear to help times 2. Dont come off, walls/embankments arent nice to bodywork 3. Remember its not a real track Easy With that said, its nice to have something different to the usual driving places

Ok here we go.....these arent as bad as bending a rod 90 degrees, but just like any other broken part in a GTR they've been expensive Launching; (done a few driveshafts now) Here's my first motor gone; Oran Park GP For the life of me i cant find the pics of the second motor going at wakefield, but yeah - lots of oil on the outside of the sump, you can imagine the rest Brad if you can please send me the tank pics that would be great
