Ah, yep GTR owners will feel your pain
  2. 2 cars at a time, have to accomodate for slaloms and things like that. Basically this runway is too thin, the reason im looking at airports is due to their large amount of tarmac used for the planes to taxi towards the runway, so we have a straight part and an area with corners to setup a "track" course, touching the grass means a penalty the same way hitting a cone does. Fastest of the day wins
  3. Sorry, the event would be too boring, all the courses would be a sprint to the cone then back to the start line. We have other venues in the pipeline and this would've been a nice addition but just isnt suitable
  4. Mate its on the run in tune (got 400 more k's to go, ill do them quite fast) then swap ECU's and go for some decent boost. Its just the best combo on the big bottom end, wish i did it sooner and didnt waste time with the 2.6 block Basically its got the response of the poxy little stock twins but way, WAY more torque and once the boost is there the power aswel.
  5. Thats a nice headjob Kat - still on the run in tune?
  6. Ok thats a problem, not enough space for a car to swing around a cone
  7. Hey guys, Here's the issue; On low load and cruise the turbos shuffle quite audibly on my car. Here's the specs; -RB30 bottom end (full forged) -RB26 head, mild porting -Tomei 270IN and EX cams 10.25mm lift -Adj cam gears set to zero -Hard pipe kit -Stock BOV's -Stock manifolds port matched -Tomei dumps -HKS front pipes -HKS GT-RS's -ARC airbox (the twin entry one) -AFM's intact but not connected (ECU doesnt need them) -OEM plenum -OEM throttle bodies So, a balance pipe has been suggested, but before spending another $1000 on the car, id like to hear first hand experiences from people who have fixed this issue
  8. Entry form sending right now
  9. Ah, here's a question....how wide is the runway?
  10. Thanks guys for the replies, im going to take my time finding the right place as this isnt a job i need done in a rush

  13. No question about it, buy this set; http://www.skylinesaustralia.com/forums/in...t&p=4382919 If they're sold, the Tomei dumps would be my next choice (although they aren't cheap)

Im sure if you have the coin available and are ready to spend it something can be worked out, afterall they're all car enthusiasts and putting the proposal to them doesnt hurt. Ready to sign up?
  17. Snowy/James have you got pics of the inside of the wheel that came off? Strengthened studs would be nice peace of mind

They're going ok currently. Yes, the supercar club allow their cars on track - they even organise the trackdays on your behalf. Doesnt get much better than rocking up at EC, getting in the 997GT3 for a few laps, lunch, then the 360CS or F430 (or exige S, or whatever you like) for some more laps later on in the day! Bargain of a club - and all the guys that work there are (very busy 24/7, can never answer the phone) deadset legends
  19. Ok, just like last time.......i dare you to do it again http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=NvcdkFd96Sw
  20. Call Powerplay, they usually have stock airboxes around the place. I couldnt find a stock R32 box ages ago for an R32 GTR and they got me a new one from Nissan, delivery was very fast, price wasnt bad at all.
  21. This sounds interesting, what exactly are you planning on getting done?
  22. Ok great, thanks McCloy Group dont take care of it anymore
  23. Would love to hear results if you dont mind
