  1. Ive taken mine well past 200 and there's no chime Does it sound the same as an automatic reverse chime?
  2. While i agree with that logic, at what point do you say "nope, thats enough"
  3. Ah ok fair enough - cheers!
  4. Thanks for that mate, much appreciated Ill be there early next week
  5. 3L and twins - a man after my heart Ive got rb30 and HKS GTRS's, even untuned its an amazing difference in comparison to twins on a 2.6L, you'll be very happy Thanks for the info And the big question im sure a lot of guys here are wondering; With so much left to do, do you think you'll have it at superlap?
  6. Cool cool In relation to the single They've got stock like response on my GTR though
  7. Surely it will go over 500awkw, hell, the little GTRS's did that so the single should manage it easy
  8. There are countless people with 05U blocks running 87mm with no issues. Also some out there at 87.5 - dont worry, stock everything will be fine at 300kw
  9. Bloody hell, 7 rolls over - as long as he's ok! Quick question though; why would you run a spec c rex, or a type RA etc over a normal STi in Targa - they're all the same mechanicals arent they? Unless some JDM models get a significant HP increase...
  10. Oh, we like! Details on brakes and wheels please mate? 380mm rotors? 18' rims? Is the motor and turbo setup for this one finished?
  11. lol, just for you guys - ill shower first
  12. You're right skylinekid, you can make heaps more than 300kw atw with a stock head. Agreed, dont waste money on a stroker if you're only going for 300kw atw
  13. Looking forward to this one
  14. Oh this is going to be a good thread
  15. Sounds fantastic. What has he done to the exhaust system?
  16. Yeah i think all GTR's need 6/4 monobloc setups with 380mm rotors
  17. Yeah its about 7 hours, longer if stops are needed for food/drinks etc The important thing to get right is to not leave when Sydney has peak hour, thats just death Oi you!

    Wtb: Rb26 Head

There's one for sale in, the "for sale" section. Do a search. Its about $1000
  19. Im not an importer, im a sales rep - i sell whatever's got a great margin at the time, and when the margin/leads goes away in a product i move on Yes i did say that it would be smarter to buy a normal one and do it up - but he's one of those weathly types that gets his heart set on something and wont accept anything short of whats in his head. Really tops guys which is nice!
  20. Im coming down with 2 others, im sure they wont mind helping out - as mentioned before, ill help with starting like last time
  21. 270's or 272s' with 10.25mm lift would be a good start - or even 280's. Get as much lift as you can. Dont forget springs aswel Yes the thrust on the crank, it will be in a lot of trouble if you have a clutch with a big clamping pressure so get a clutch that matches what you want and isnt a heap of overkill
  22. SpecV, delivery k's, on the road ready to go, 8 week delivery time, mines exhaust. Thats what you get, oh, and a fkn HUGE amount of taxes to pay while the exchange rate is so crappy. Figure out the luxury car tax just for a laugh
  23. Speaking of the SpecV, i priced one for a customer yesterday, and he's accepted the order - the price? $450,000 ready to drive. Thats including luxury car tax, which was a crazy amount, compliance etc. Also sold a HKS GT570 kit and exhaust to another customer, its crazy the frenzy surrounding these cars - if only people knew what R32/3/4 owners pay for parts!
  24. -Sell the cams, get something more suited -Agreed with Shane -What manifold will you use? ebay or something like a 6 boost? (I used ebay and it was fine, BTW a 44mm gate and to4z sounds awesome when its loaded up) -Make sure the thrust on the crank is ok and that the crank is usable, there's SO many stuffed ones out there What car is it going into?
