  1. thats what mine was too...planned on keepin the car for like 6 months till i found something i liked...lol ended up keeping it for 6 years and spend a dick load of cash on it lol. rb25det in R31 FTW! all this talk makes me wanna get another and do the same thing.
  2. i would ring the insurance company and explain the whole situation. Be cool, calm and collected and pretend that its a wierd occurance and you are usually happy with their service. People tend to help you out then. also, mention you were looking at your statement and noticed two withdraws within 2 days, both incurred an overdraw fee. They will most likely credit you a months insurance. The key is, to be cool calm and collected and be 'on their side'.
  3. i used to get notes on my 31 all the time....leave a note man, just saying, like your car, would you be interested in selling, contact so n so if your keen.. you never know!

  11. that would be cool, wouldnt stick mobile numbers/emails etc...maybe DOHMAR on your bumper would be fine. hell some people have their nickname on their plates. hehe
  12. thats good news GTRgeoff....ill be interested fo sure.
  13. The microtech ltx12s is most suitable for the r33. Try searching the forums before asking a question next time, your problem probably is caused by incorrect spark plug gap. Gap the plugs to 0.7mm with some feeler guages and it should be fine. i personally think its a safer option to run no more than 10psi through the standard turbo with standard ecu. They tend to develop a flat spot. All this information has been covered, if you want more just search.
  14. mad, just mad
  15. stock 15's with same stud pattern as skylines.
  16. spotted a Stock White R33 GTR on Port rd today around 4:15pm near stillwell fords. nice
  17. even with a piggy back such as the SAFC II, the standard ecu can introduce that retarded timing bizzo, I found with my old s1 rb25det the ecu would pull the timing way back around 4-5.5k rpm which in turn would allow boost to creep up. i was explained it a while back but thats the gist of it. Mine did this all the time. even with complete stock boost lines, solinoid all hooked back up, different actuator fitted etc. Was a pain in the arse. The only real aid for this problem is a PFC, microtech so on and so forth. By all means check your actuator etc etc...if you have fitted an aftermarket dump pipe make sure its not restricting the wastegate movement.
  18. oops double post
  19. that would be your thrust bearing champ, its the bearing that presses against the clutch pressure plate when you put your foot on the clutch. its either that or a bearing in your gearbox is on its way out.
  20. yea man major crisis.....give the car to someone who'll use it for something worth while. sometimes you just cant help but wonder
