i drive a gts-t on p's and have never once been hassled by the cops

i recently looked into doing this also, however, none of the courses at tafe or anywhere offered any after working hours classes etc or you needed to do a f/t apprenticeship to do the actual course. i asked a few mates who are mechanics and ppl who had done it about the 'short courses' which can be done after hours, but they said at those ones they usually just teach u stuff u already know or stuff u dont even need to know. so yeah it didnt leave me any options which is crap!

this happened to me a couple months back, a few tiny scratches to the back of their car and they said they would just get it buffed out and send me the bill which i was fine with, but a couple weeks later i got a letter of demand and a bill due in 7 days from their insurance company for $890 (theres noway it could have been that much) so i rang and complained and asked for photos of the damage and an itemised bill of the repairs, they quickly changed their tune and let me settle it for $450, still steep but was worth arguing it down... forgot to add that i paid them direct and not through my insurance because it ended up being less than my excess and there was no damage at all to my car either

yep it is kinda high pitched (and very annoying) and its worse on idle/stationery and yeah my initial thought was its too tight...mite be easy but i cant fix it myself though cos i have no idea wat im doing lol i had a look and the belts are like super tight, i cant twist them at all

hmmm, well i bought the parts and only got a new belt, so id have to check that out.. yeah all stock and mmm yes it is a gates racing belt, the blue one... thanks for that, well its done 113000, so yeah will suss it out LOL...quite the comedian hey, yeah he is, i actually asked about it after i started it up while i was still there and heard the noise, he said it should be fine and could last till next service, but yeah i just dont want my car sounding like that for the next 5000kms so id rather have it fixed, watever it is and yeah dunno wat to do yet

i just got my r33 back from having the water pump and timing belt replaced now the car is making a whiny rattling noise that was never there before, its worse when its idling and just sounds like its running crap was thinking maybe they did the tensioner too tight or something? anyone got any ideas? and could i be doing any damage to the engine driving it like this?

hrmmm well i surely hope it made it there cos thats where its spose to be, lol i might just check that out

hey all, just noticed a huge puddle of dirty rusted water undearneath my car where it was parked and after further inspection noticed a leak from underneath, its dripping like a rusted liquid (its not oil), possibly coming from the water pump? anyone have any ideas on what it could be? any help appreciated, thanks
