gt-ahhh you must of bought the lemonist lemon out there in the skyline land... Ive got a 96 GTST II and had it for over 1.5 years and the only problem I had since was replacing the bushes which cost me around 60 bucks for a pair... the original right one popped and spewed white goo all over the drive way. Skyline = good cars, OK fuel eco. Need to care for them, esp with their age now and they will look after you.

I have put my rear seats back in and it is still droney for my liking, the passengers hate going in the back now cos its damn noisy. Anyway I have measured the actual width of the muffler pipe which is protruding and it is 4.5 inches wide. I thought mine was meant to be 3.5 in width? If I was to get another canon muffler from x force which is 2.5 or 3 inches will it quiten down my exhaust a fair bit? But will this also need welding? Or should I just go and get an oval muffler and weld that thing on? I dont know how much welding will cost and where to get good second hand or even new (prefer second hand) oval mufflers in Melbourne. Please help.

Ok guys I have a Just Jap (JJR) turbo back exhaust. It is a 3'" going into 3.5" canon muffler. It is starting to annoy me as it is rather loud. Ive read that cannon mufflers are all droney, oval type mufflers are not. I want to get a hold of an oval type muffler (Xforce?) and remove my cannon muffler and fit it on to reduce the noise. Will I need to weld this thing on or will it be a straight fit? Please help cos Im starting to hate driving my car. Thanks!
